How is everyones dogs handling the heat? I am aborting the midday walk whilst I am working from home at the moment. I feel guilty as he is obviously up for a walk.

Some of them must be so hot, our lad finally agreed to have his haircut yesterday after months of fighting against it.
He must feel better in the heat now that he's got rid of the teddy bear look.

A couple of our dogs from when the weather was nice a while back. I did post a link to the Facebook album but.

Take the dog out around 11 and make sure I take a partially shaded route. Then out again in the evening sun as it's less harsh.

All my staffie wants to do is lie in the sun, then move to the shade panting, then lie in the sun... etc etc. She doesn't seem interested in going out for a walk and she normally loves them. I had to drag her out this morning. Felt awful doing so... but she needs a walk :(

Lotty, our Staffie X who is adopted. She was found wandering the streets of York and had clearly been abused. We've had her 3 years now and she's good as gold with people and other animals.

Thanks. No idea what she's crossed with I'm afraid. I'd love to know more about her history but that's never going to happen given how she was found.

Bless her. So many Staffies get a hard start in life :(

On another note, does anyone else's dog have seasonal allergies? Mine has to have a course of steroids during the spring/summer months as she has the doggy equivalent of hay fever :(
