From the video it looks like they've sorted out the atrocious handling on the cars as well. Good show Rockstar, you've just gone to the top of my most wanted list.
 
i heard somewere that it had been confirmed that it wont be coming to nex-gen. I really hope it does so i can admire the beauty and have the replayability even more.

I really hope GTA 4 car physics and handling is still in, thats one of the things I loved about it, despite its hatred from certain folks! :p
 
I had a bash on GTA 4 last night, boy the graphics are pretty bad compared to what has been shown for GTA 5, but oh my, it's still so much fun, I have completed the main story so was just doing the assassin missions but I had a right blast.

Proper ready for this game. It could be the game of the generation.
 
Same for me. Hard to get to grips with at first, but really rewarding after that and had such a good 'feel' to it. I started Sleeping Dogs the other day, and the vehicles are just terrible, there's no motivation to actually drive them or try different cars, trucks etc because they just feel bland. Same goes for Saints Row.

Even in the earlier GTA games though, the handling was pretty good so I imagine they'll have worked hard to keep most people happy.
 
looking at the trailer , I like how you can change character and when you do they are actually going about there daily life's , instead of just standing randomly on a side walk for instance ready for you to take control.
 
I usually book a day off work for aq new GTA release, but after watching the latest trailer I have to say (and I don't use this word often) this looks EPIC! I might just need to book a week off :)

Saints Row 2 was ruined partially due to those damn car physics, Saints Row 3 would have been better but didn't seem to be as good story wise and 4 looks to be going the wrong way completely imo :(

I agree about the first two saints row games, although I really enjoyed the third - it's still not a s good a game as GTA imo but it was a very fun game to play.
 
i loved the car driving in 4 as well. Was great once you mastered it and pulled off a sweet slide round a corner. Never understood why people hated on it so much. I just considered them idiots
