Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

I still play BL2 with my girlfriend. Using a modded launcher it runs 2 instances of the game offsetting the monitor, controller and also profile by 1 allowing us to both hit LAN and join on the same PC. Runs pretty good on my setup as its basically running 3840*1080 graphically and then running the game engine twice!

Loads of fun!

She tends to lead though...
 
I've pretty much given up on shift keys, don't get anything good. I tend to just use them on lower level characters to get a half decent low level gun on first play through.

Best non-shift key way of getting purples (and sometimes legendaries as well) in UVHM is to farm the developer chest in Tundra Express due to everything scaling up to your current level :)

There's also a place for level 50 (TVHM) than can be farmed but the description is vaguely around the elevater near the Warrior.

Or the 3-4 chests in the Arena in Mister Torgue DLC. :p
 
Just in case anyone doesn't know there is a back door into the treasure chamber

Plenty of oranges and pearls ;)

The second best place to look is the 4 boxes in the wildlife exploration preserve where you get one of the sl"g experimentation notes from, if you leave the quest open but don't pick up the notes a loot midget will spawn from each one and they have a high drop rate.
 
more DLCs are planned for release soon, later this year !!!!!!!:eek:

it's ok i suppose, but why do all of this for BL2; it's now getting old, why not start making the 3rd game instead ???

there's no point farming before you're maxed out anyway, there's no point me bothering anymore either; not until i'm at level 60, because level 50 guns will be useless soon, (probably by level 54) so there's no point hunting anymore.

i'll get up to level 60/ finish Tiny Tinas whatever comes first, and then farm my favourite areas all over again,

i find legendaries in normal areas, because if you play a favourite location enough times ( Sawtooth Cauldron) the game will drop legendaries here...i think the drop rate is on a timer, because it always seems to drop
something really good once every 12 hours

Good point didn't realise the cap went all the way up to 60! I enjoy the quick blast the game provides so hopefully I'll be 60 before BL3 comes out :D
 
Another shift code here for a class mod for Axton 5JKBJ-K9WHW-WBZTJ-T3TTB-TW9HR I think it's valid for today only. They are giving one a day away on facebook until after the weekend.

oh i am, i just see faults in every game i play, because even Dishonored has faults !!!!
the only recent game i dont like is Bioshock

i have all the BL2 DLCs, plus i played the 1st game for nearly 2 years, i was addicted to it :cool:...but i'm not ready for Tiny Tina yet, it's too damned hot to game, plus i'm not sure what else to download with it.

BL3 will probably be another 2 years yet, maybe less, the Borderlands franchise is a huge game with massive sales, so a 3rd game wont be too far away..... you would have to be a total idiot not to make a 3rd game, because it's easy money and relatively easy to make......just as long as it's not still on Pandora !!! :eek:
