Steam Summer Sale

On a related note, am I the only one who doesn't have a single clue what these 'trading cards' are all about? Some games seem to have them, it doesn't tell you how you actually get them (e.g. I've finished Bioshock Infinite but don't have any cards for it), but you can use them to craft 'badges' and get some seemingly useless extras. But you can also sell them it seems (based on the Football Manager one I've randomly received, despite not having FM) for pennies.

Is there some greater purpose for all this or is it just more crap Steam are adding?

with bioshock normally its because you played it before the card's were added to the game if u wanted some of them you would have to play it again

Just got FTL and Just Cause 2. I hope sleeping dogs and Dishonoured come up again.

But I have set a limit, I am not buying any game that costs more than £3 :-)

Bought Tropico 4: Collector's Bundle (£5.99) and Faster Than Light (£1.74).

Waiting for the eventual price drops on Dark Souls (£5) and Euro Truck Simulator 2 (~£6).

Tropico 4 Collector's Bundle - £5.99

Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition - £2.49

Worth it?

To bioshock or not to bioshock..

Also, can anyone recommend a pretty, fairly old school style FPS (on sale) for the purposes of admiring the graphics on my new pooter? :p

Does the version of Walking Dead contain episodes 1-5 for £5.24? The game passed me by when released and it's not clear exactly what you get for the money.

Anyone played Endless space?

REad reviews and moist seem to agree that the combat system is pap,but the majority of the game is great.

I already have sword of the stars from a bundle i bought.

Would it be worth it grabbing endless space or should i just try out sword of the stars?
