I you press and hold on the screen and slide your finger along to create new portal, then you can take a photo :)
 
I'll try the shop near my house. I've got a broken ankle so i can't go far.

I've hacked my first postal today and put 6 of them things on it. Do have to keep going back and upgrading them? Or can I not upgrade them until I've leveled up myself?

You have to level up and have higher level resonators. However, you are limited to the amount of resonators at higher levels that you can place.

You can put 8x L1 on one portal but only 4x L2 (meaning you'd need to put other level resonators on or get someone else to.)

8 x L1 Resonator
4 x L2 Resonator
4 x L3 Resonator
4 x L4 Resonator
2 x L5 Resonator
2 x L6 Resonator
1 x L7 Resonator
1 x L8 Resonator

They vary. They can take up to 3 months sometimes, just keep submitting and in a month your have about 15 around you!

Then it gets tricky keeping them all alive :p
 
Is there a limit to the amount of portals you can submit in a day? I've don't 7 today but only got a email for 5, not impressed went right out of my way to try and make them while on crutches :-(

Not that Im aware of, the e-mails dont always come through straight away for me but I keep forgetting you even get one!

Had a good meetup with other Surrey resistance players last night in East Croydon. Took most of the ENL portals and fields down although it took 3 of them 4 hours to put it all back up.

Now to farm XMP's!
 
New update for the app today/yesterday :)

Added some pretty good features to it, if yours doesnt update manually (its slowly rolling out) then you can grab the apk from decodeingress.com :)
