Wenger will soon train any spontaneity or improvisation out of him and he will learn to pass it back rather than forwards and will be told he will be fined a weeks wages if he shoots from outside the box.

Oh how I'll miss Arshavin.... thats what happens to players who dare to continually try to attack the opposition and score lots of goals, think for themselves. :(

One of the Norwich targets confirmed:

"City can confirm Dutch international midfielder Leroy Fer has joined from FC Twente on a 4-year deal, subject to international clearance"

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla (usually reliable) reports that Manchester United will meet with Stevan Jovetic's agent on Monday. City are too I think.

Bookies are saying Fulham could be signing Adel Taarabt - loan or permanent I'm not sure. He was a Jol signing at Spurs wasn't he? Or Ramos?

Suarez will win Arsenal games, he's a massive talent and worth 40 million.

The antics and behavior he brings however are horrendous.

Arsenal would for all intents and purposes be better off with him than without, but it doesn't feel like a real bid, his behavior just doesn't match Arsenal as a club.

Bizarre rumors.

Agreed their club is too timid

You never know, it could have a positive effect on him. He might see a club competing in the Champions league as a mark for new responsibility.

He won't change no matter what club he goes to. I'd rather see him out of the premier league. Fed up hearing about his latest incidents in football. Just get rid of him.

Shame really, as he is a good footballer at the end of the day.

various places (the Mirror) say Liverpool possibly trying to sign:
Christian Eriksen (not really a new story)
Toby Alderweireld
Ryan Bertrand
Toby Alderweireld - Belgian CB/part time RB currently at Ajax

Ryan Bertrand - can't see that move happening, particularly as Chelsea don't have many real FBs in their squad.

I don't think your club are stupid enough to think they were ever getting him

This is the club that both believes Diaby is world class and that he'll play such an important and large part of a season that its worth giving a pay raise every couple years to make sure no one else nabs him......... the guy who is lucky to play 10 games a year.

The club Denilson begged to leave because he wanted to go somewhere and win something.... let that sink in, Denilson wanted to leave to win things.

Taken from a fan forum.

Southampton have had a bid 20m euros accepted by Roma for Paulo Osvaldo. However, the 27 year old striker has vetoed the move, stating he wants to move to a bigger club. His agent is expected to conduct talks with Zenit St. Peterburg and Manchester City next week.

In the meantime Southampton have switched all thier attention to trying to sign a striker to Brazilian international Leandro Damiao and upped thier bid to over 22m euros. Tottenham Hotspur will be fierce rivals for his signature.

Southampton have not finished signing defenders either, they are actively trying to sign Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld from under the noses of Liverpool and Norwich City. Both clubs had a bids of around £5m rejected last week. Southampton will test Ajax resolve with a £6.5m offer for the Belgian centre back.

It is also reported that Southampton are set to complete the signing of Ever Banega for £10m from Valencia by Wednesday. Banega is keen to play in the EPL, and manager Mauricio Pochettino has been an admirer of fellow countryman Banega, 24, since his time managing Espanyol. Banega, who has 17 international caps, almost joined Everton in 2009 but the move fell through because of a problem with his visa.

With the 2 signings all ready made plus luke shaw staying I hope southampton at least challenge for a Europa league place this season.
