Hi guys,

completed the Manchester > Blackpool ride last Sunday on my Specialized Allez which I use to commute to work everyday and am looking at my next bike purchase. I am after Shimano 105 groupset for preferably under 1.5k.

Looking at the Fuji Grand Fondo 2.1 which is on offer at the moment, can anyone suggest a good bike for this price?

need some advice on what drink is best for riding; i have a choice between the SIS Electrolyte or SIS Energy? which would be better?

Built by myself 3 cross a couple of months ago and ridden once home on my commute. In brand new condition including rim tapes and skewers.

Looking for £200 posted. Will also warrenty the wheels for the next year if the rim or hub has a manufacturs fault.

2013 Mavic Aksium wheelset including the Mavic Askium tyres and tubes, rim tapes and skewers. Bought from another forum Brand New but bought a disc brake equipped cross bike so still up my loft new and unused. Merlin is the cheapest at £175 so looking for £140 delivered. Cant warrenty these as not bought from the shop.

I'm still considering another geared bike even though I don't need it. I've decided against the R2W scheme as Evans only stock carp and I don't wish to be at my employer for another 12 months.

What do people reckon to the Ribble 7005 Audax? It's quite utilitarian but seems like great value for a winter trainer/commuter.

Alternatively I really like the look of this Cinelli in blue which is on sale:

Out of those two you want the GO stuff. How come you are limited to just those two? Get high5 4:1 and be done

think im going to attempt a hill tomorrow, Strava doesn't give it a CAT, but I know its quite steep from descending it in the car and on my MTB

what would you give this ?

ive seen it recommend a few times and i bought the intro bottle but couldn't decide which one i should i use all the time. Is the high5 4:1 better?

I use High 5 ZERO Electrolyte tabs into water (2 tabs in this heat) and I take natural cereal bars with me, for my carbs

i didn't realise I was out for almost 4 hours on Sunday, and all i had was porridge in the morning, took a bottle of water with 2 tabs of High 5 zero, and all I hate was 3 natural bars, and because I hadn't been out for a week (was on holiday) the last 20 mins I suffered
