Final Fantasy VII - Now on steam.

I just found out that I cant download the copy I got from the SE store, as they only let you download it 30 days after purchase.
 
Revenuk, i thought that i couldn't download the game again from SE store when I needed to re-install it but then i found the original email with the link to download and that worked.

The worse thing for me now is I have played this game so many times now I don't even need the guide book anymore ! :eek:

I just seem to remember where everything is how to do it all by memory. Although I still have my guide book which my parents bought me for xmas :p at home.

After I downloaded it yesterday I was getting a FF7_launcher is not responding error at startup. Tried it on the backup PC (both win8) and it worked fine.

Disabled 2nd monitor on main PC and the launcher worked then continued to work even when I re enabled the 2nd monitor. Might be worth a try if you are running a multi monitor setup?
 
Picked it up for £7 from GMG (steam version) as it does not look like it will go on sale on steam summer sales.

Seems the thread on steam regarding replacing the midi sounds has been taken down. Does anyone have a link to another guide elsewhere?

Try this; Anxious Heart.

Make sure to run as admin, select 2012 release and specify the Steam folder and it should work.

I might go GMG route. I really want this, but I'll wait out the steam sale just incase. Won't be too difficult considering how my library has grown over the past few days! :p

By the way, another dude made a thread about this with no response, he should have posted it in here. It is called Final Heaven: A Melancholy Tribute to Final Fantasy VII (2013) Full Album and I quite enjoyed the 2nd track starting around 2:30. Very nice rendition indeed, recommended :D

No problem. I have found myself just listening to that soundtrack now though :D,
 
Sorry if this has been asked 1000000 times in the topic already but...

Is there any new content/improved graphics or is it just the PS1 game on PC?
