Need some people to test out my castle, needs more improvements but trying to vary my traps and pulls. Level 16-19 ish give it a bash.

Ceryn, well I tried your derp farm and getting to the second group and finding DR skulls and being surrounded by 8+ huge skellies as well as the 30-40 derps I'd pulled wasn't fun and died in seconds.
If you want to make a derp farm do it, don't sprinkle lots of death in the mix.

Agreed I don't like the guy, comes across very arrogant I think.

It's more the fact that he's very pedantic about things that don't matter and then he completely misses the most obvious things, like his opinion on this, which is one of the best examples. He just does not know how the game works, and see's the ability to purchase upgrades as buying power when it's actually putting you at a disadvantage and opening your castle up to much stronger heroes than before.

(oh and btw, the archer is not the best when it comes to derp farming.. )

I farm WAY easier with my archer than my knight.

Aggro them all, get em in a line, caltrops, rain of arrows whilst piercing shotting and boomerang birding. Easy as pie.

Whereas I just run through, pull the entire map to the end, and drop them with cleave, fire shield, and that dragon breathy one.. Tried with my archer, and it just felt, too squishy

Agreed, I use exactly the same setup. Just rips through unlimited mobs!

Though I don't mind knight farming, I just find archer a bit more efficient. However my archer is in better gear and I find archers more fun all round really.

if you are not being attacked, it is a good time to be levelling things up.. remember, when you get attacked, its your resources they are stealing, meaning you have to work harder, which isn't exactly ideal..
 
Folks if people aren't attacking it's probably as you've left no resources for them to take, mines don't count only the chests - so leave some in to temp people into having a go :)
 
I have no idea what's happened, I don't remember there being anything huge when reading through the patch notes that would affect my archer so much, but I seem to be going on a bit of a rampage with him, with a weird skill build. Lv12 and have Volley, Caltrops, Spiral Shot and piercing shot.

Only thing that kills me is Lv3 cyclops. I can deal with everything else, but they just deal far too much damage while being too tough to kill. They just beat me up before I can kill them.

In 5 hours I shold have Lv6 gold storage, then its a case of saving up the 24k gold for a Lv4 castle heart!
