This is a taboo(ish) subject, I'm a believer in stopping immigration etc, country is getting to full etc - but this guy from the EDL is doing anyone no favours, he is embarassingly stupid - there's absolutely no political platform being it, just pure racism without any knowledge of the situation.


This is just blind racism and hate, mixed with alcohol and an IQ with less digits than he has fingers.

Ok you didn't state that you hate Muslims so ill take that back.


In what way is our country too full? There are abandoned streets in parts of Wales with completely empty houses. What you mean is that London and the major cities are overcrowded. There is plenty of space for this county to accept the flow of immigration.

With regards to the clip, the fella is an idiot, but he sums up the feelings of a lot of other idiots.


My own feelings on immigration is that we don't own any land on this planet and we should be free to travel anywhere and anytime. Obviously that theory is full of hippy crap and there will be restrictions ie war zones and other restricted places for safety.

Hmm, I don't know to be honest, I don't pretend to be any political and humanist genius, but the amount of immigration that's happening is kinda crazy - it annoys me the amount of support that they get too, sure they are seeking asylum, but I know many of these immigrants (in person) that are getting one hell of a lot from benefits, whereas my own father (in his 50s with severe epilepsy) gets **** all from benefits. Apparently, "he has been epileptic too long", and the government no longer deem it fit to supply DLA (disability living allowance) and because of this I have to pay over half my monthly wage to my parents so they don't have to live on the streets. It's not a racism thing, it's an ethics thing - why should people who were born in this country struggle, whilst immigrants get stuff handed to them on a plate, silver spoon in hand.

This isn't a racist comment either, I'm a firm believer in freedom for all and equality. I understand that 99% of the UK's immigrants work incredibly hard, as I do - but just because they're seeking asylum, should they just get so much handed to them, whilst the people that have toiled and sweated their way to surviving (like my father) get discounted in benefits... argh it's tricky subject and infuriates me.

Please do not take this up as a racist post, because it's not and I am far from racist, it' just the ethics of how the British government are dealing with situations such as this.

Ah there we agree, so its not immigration pre se, its the hand outs...on that I'm in massive agreement with you. It's not right it doesn't happen in other parts of the world...it needs sorting.

Exactly, there's an immigrant family living next to me, they have a brand new VW people carrier, about 6 kids and they never seem to work, they are always at home with their bloody children screaming and running around in their garden, lobbing toys and footballs into my garden
 
Your describing a whole host of unemployed families though it just happens this family is non British. Brats throwing toys into other people's gardens happens the nation over.

The people mover, yes grrrr...but I feel that for most hand out to be honest.

Oh yeah, I'm not denying there are plenty of white, British families that are the same - there does seem to be a massive growth of immigrants that do this, especially in my local area

It's hardly that. He gave an erudite voicing of his displeasure that certain proponents of what could be argued to be an anachronistic, misogynistic and totalitarian political belief dressed up as a religion are not integrating with society, but rather insidiously imposing their beliefs on our culture without consent or consideration.

It was also very eloquently phrased. Hats off to the fellow, he gets my vote if he ever runs for political office.
 
Yes but the fellow in the clip would have to spent a week with a dictionary to understand what you just eloquently stated. Touché.
