I think they sell them at £5.69 for 10, you can get them here
*Edit to Add* The reviews suggest otherwise, but the wife ordered these so will let you know next week when they arrive.

Glad you got it sorted mate!
Did it meet or surpass your expectations? Did with the wife, i am a vaping widow. :p

I absolutely love it, feels great and has the right amiunt of weight to it plus with my protank it looks the business:p. In fact my friends who dont smoke at all want one lol.

But its definitely infinitely better than the other e-cigs i have tried, i actually enjoy vaping now...im down to about a cig a day from my usual 15 a day.

Yas, I'd suggest getting at least one backup atomiser, then a backup for your backup :D

It's handy to have a few as you can use each for a different flavour. I have 5 different tanks on the go, each with different flavours as I get bored easily and like to change through the day.

Fasttech are doing the protanks for £7.50 at the moment. Delivery is from China so will take approximately 7-14 days.

Yep looks like im going to have to, is it ok to store the liquid in the tank for a long period of time??.

But already ive ordered some bubble gum liquid as i seem to be getting on with that...ordered 2 different nic levels as im finding the 18ml from Simon a bit too hard on my throat. But i have strawberry, raspberry and apple tart, all of which are very nice but i do prefer the bubble gum in all honesty.

But this is costing me lots of money as im going to order a few more protanks so i can have one for each liquid.

Are the kanger protech tanks on fasttech genuine??, they seem to have 3 different listings for the protank and im looking at the one $12 as the $10 is out of stock.

EDIT: Actually ive seen the protank 2 which should be out in Aug and it looks even better, the whole tank can be broken down into pieces which is good as its hard trying to dry out the original protank with a piece of tissue paper:p So might order a couple of these instead, expensive £16 for a pre-order:eek:

Yes, PG and VG won't evaporate either. Best place to store liquids is in a cool dark place like a cupboard.

Although I mentioned I have a few tanks on the go and it's always a good idea to have spares, you can wash the tanks out between liquids so you don't necessarily have to completely devote one tank to one juice. Some of the stronger tasting stuff like menthol likes to linger though. When it's time to change or clean a head, I normally sterilise the whole atomiser using tablets and that normally gets rid of any residual flavour. Also when you have a few tanks, you can just leave the tank overnight and it will dry without having to get inside it with tissue.

I have one of their $16 retail boxed and the $12 Protanks and they're both identical and genuine.

A lot of Fasttech stuff is cloned such as their Vivi Nova tanks (Vision are the original manufacturer) but FT don't try and con people by listing them as Vision branded or genuine/official. This would be a very bad idea for them as vapers know the difference between genuine and clone and word would quickly spread. A tip for buying from them is to wait until a product gets reviews and there has been a discussion on it as every question that you may need to know will have been answered! :)

If something is listed as Kanger or Innokin, it will be the real deal. Their Liqua juices are genuine too.

@ Yas u dont always have to buy Protanks, the Evods can be decent as well and iirc they are about £1.50 each on slowtech. but if you are not bothered, then get a couple of Protanks.;)
I think i read that some people clean them using a little Milton sterilizing solution (stuff for babys bottles lol), then just let them air dry.

@Hamster, i tasted my VC today, the FVD makes a big difference to it, its not quite GVC but i would say its 80-90% there, but its still really nice.:)
Now i dont know if this is because of the late addition of the FVD, but i will make another batch over the weekend and this time i have every ingredient.
Just glad i rescued it, as the VC, DDL and EM were okish by themselves.
I am not expecting an exact clone of GVC, but something very similar will be good

Brilliant Hamster thanks for the reply mate :). Guess ill order a few from fasttech so i can have at least 3 on the go so to speak. And cheers for the advice regarding cleaning them etc. Althought as i said the protank 2 is coming out soon which you can break down even more but its pretty expensive.

Just ordered 3 more protanks for a total of £25 with shipping, much cheaper than the £17 i paid for mine:p

Hey all,

I've been using my Kanger Evod kit for a few days now and I am thoroughly pleased with how much better it is when compared to my older EGO-T CE5 kit. No more leaking what so ever and the breathing pipe is always clear.

However, I've noticed that the battery life of both batteries I have received appear to be shocking, I am only getting around 2 hours at best and I only really vape 7 or 8 times a day. Like last night for example, I made sure it was fully charged up by 5pm before my night out and sadly it ran out of batter after using it on/off last night for after just 2 hours of use!

Something else I've noticed as well that the re-charging procedure for both batteries is only taking just over an hour (where as a full charge is supposed to take roughly 3 hours) and then the light on the USB lead will go from red to green to indicate that it's supposedly fully charged - I think this has something to do with the issue I'm experiencing. Each of my old CE5's used to last me for around 2 days before needing a re-charge.

Any ideas all?

Thanks - Liam

what other options are there apart from the vamo to use with the protank?

I have been using this: https://www.fasttech.com/products/1290904
for the past 3 days, with the full size ProTank as a more pocket friendly and stealthier vape. It's been flawless, although I've been charging it each night, I've yet to have a weak vape from it, so the capacity is longer than 14 hours (the longest I've gone between charges). I'm a heavy vaper. I've been so impressed with the value of the little EGO-T, as well as the performance/price of the £7 ProTank, I've ordered 5 more (1 as backup to my backup) for friends that have been blown away by how well it performs.

For under £11 delivered, I'd have to say it's the best value for money vape I can find!

@lek, that does seem to be very short battery life, iirc my old ego batteries took a minimum of 3 hrs to charge and 1 would last me all day and i can chain vape on occasion lol.
How old are the batteries and do u know the mAh of it?
Mine were 900mAh, but i would presume a 650mAh would not last as long but should still last longer than that.
also may be worth having a look at those batteries Redmogg just linked to above.
1100mAh battery for £4 and free P&P but will take about 2 weeks to arrive

This one?

d_brennan - thanks a lot for the heads up :) It looks like that this is now a widespread issue going by the amount of users on that forum who have reported that they have received emails from where they purchased their Kanger's from about the battery recall. I ordered mine from VapeEscape last week so it looks like I will be giving them a call on Monday to see what can be done.

j.col - IIRC, I think my older EGO-T CE5's were running on 1100 mAh batteries. As you say, mine did indeed take around 3 hours to fully charge up. My new Kanger batteries are rated at 650 mAh and they are supposed to last up to 10 hours apparently so I estimate that when they operate properly, they should each last me for just over a day. As I said in my previous post though, mine are barely lasting 2 hours - let alone 10! One of the Kanger's that I charged up first thing this morning and I have probably only vaped off it 5 or 6 times today so far has literally just died on me again - not good :( I'm going to stick it back on charge once again now but no doubt that it will be supposedly fully charged again within the hour...

Jason is really good at getting back to you, I'd fire him an email, he'll probably reply this evening :p
