yeah, you know soundbites to various media here, there and everywhere. His agent hasn't shut up for the past few days either.

Are people here seriously questioning if Suarez wants to leave?
What's his agent said? Unless you're referring to the junk in the English media.

I have no doubt he would leave to go to the likes of Madrid. I question the links to a club like Arsenal however.

Bender is a weird one, spent a season on loan to Juve but didnt score a single goal and seems to like getting drunk though then driving:p. If we can get some money for him along with Chamakh then id be happy with that as long as we have replacements for those 2.

If we are going to spend £40mill on Suarez, id really rather us give that £40mill to Real and get Higuain in as he doesnt have any baggage, wont drag our club name through the mud and will score plenty of goals. But i personally dont think Higuain is worth more than £30mill max so Real if they have upped the price for him are just taking the proverbial mick:p.

Would be hilarious if we did get both Higuain and Suarez this summer...but the way its going, we probably wont sign either of them :p

On Bendtner, Wenger didn't have him along for preseason training as there were multiple clubs bidding for a transfer, but ultimately none matched Wenger's valuation. In the end he went to Juve very late on with no preseason at all, missed the first 6-8 weeks of the season simply doing his preseason, got a few games, almost no starts, basically barely played before xmas when he picked up a season ending injury.

He didn't score but had a season ruined by no preseason and a bad injury, not because he was poor, he was excellent in the euro's and scored fine for Denmark up till his injury.

With Suarez, I don't care the cost, not remotely interested. Its also worth noting that for 18 months at Liverpool he didn't look a player worth 20mil both because he's a selfish pratt on the pitch, constantly shooting without being able to find the goal at all and the fact he was a total **** and got bans, dived everywhere and is a complete cheat.

At best he's had 12 great months in 30.... which as yet in no way makes him a 40mil player even without all his other issues. Secondly, he does have all the other issues, cheating, diving, attempting to injure players, racism, huge ban every season for 3 seasons for utterly absurd behaviour.

The only consistency he has shown is not in performances, but his ability to miss 1/4 of a season though bans. If he goes back to the previous year's form and gets another 10 game ban, that isn't even a 15mil player there. I don't want him full stop. Without his problems I wouldn't drop more than 30mil on him and because he is a complete pratt and WILL continue to be a problem, I wouldn't drop more than 15-20mil on him at the absolute most and that would have to include a well worked contract that would see him make incredibly little if he had another big incident, both for motivation and for not being stuck paying the scrote a huge wage while banned.

There are great strikers available, as we've seen with several moving and a couple dozen more to come in the next month, there is no need to buy Suarez when there are equally good goal scorers and hugely better behaved players available. He's not 18 with time to mature, he's shown who he is, he has zero intention of improving, he is absolutely not worth a big fee or big wage.

I think with Suarez at Arsenal, you could really be challenging for honours at every level, that guy is obviously pretty dam good. Perhaps these outburst are really signs that he needs to be competing in the Champions league season in, season out. It could really have a major psychological effect on him, in terms of standing up and not doing those things. If i was Arsenal fan, i could be chomping at the bit to have in your team (excuse the pun), he could be lethal up front (and again..)

He was the same at Ajax.

Read quite a few articles on fab and never seen one saying that, maybe you have a better search engine...certainly none with any quotes.

It's been mentioned many times in articles that it's believed Man Utd are his preferred choice.

Okay, as reading twice clearly didn't work for you, I've posted what I said.
When did I ever say there were quotes? "It's believed".
If it had direct quotes I wouldn't say "It's believed" would I? I'd say "He said". Honestly...

I think anyone who seriously thinks that Suarez isn't worth it in the PL is mad. I doubt there is a single PL club supporter who could genuinely say he wouldn't start in their team.

The problem is, the baggage. As a LFC fan I'm not sure its worth it anymore, but I'd be damned if we sold him to another PL club. I'd accept 10 mil less to see him go overseas. I certainly doubt we will let him go irrespective of the club for less than 30Mil.

That would go a decent way to getting 1, maybe 2 other strikers. We have a real problem with seemingly being unable to have several decent strikers, and I'm always worried about it each season.

What did you just say? i am trying to decrypt what you just said LOL

Like who? Can you name some great strikers who are available that we could buy?

Have to agree with Jonney, there are only a dozen or so truly world class strikers and I'm not sure if there are more than a couple who would be available and even those would cost an astronomical amount of money. Higuain is the only really 'available' striker and even then Arsene is managing to show his usual transfer ability.

Its "believed" by who? You...

Post me some of these mystical articles that only you have access to. Someone has to say its believed he would choose Utd. It doesnt have to be a direct quote from Fab himself.

So yes you can give quotes and it could still be believed.

You have gone from "every article" to nothing. Just find a couple, not a lot to ask for.

PS: I understood what he meant :p

The reality is that we would struggle to attract those £15-30 million pound calibre strikers, especially if we are selling our best players. We need him to stay this season.

The only positive thing,- if he goes to Arsenal I think DM might just implode!:)

i'd rather make rooney become friends with the bench for the rest of his contract than sell him to chelsea

But you could financially burden them some more by selling him. He has a two year contract left on £250-300k per week. Get rid...

Suarez has apparently arrived with Liverpool team, I guess we will hear over the next few days what his actions are.

By the bloody media and/or Man Utd. I'm going to have to do the literary equivalent of colour by numbers for you to understand aren't I! :p

Have you even read any articles in the newspapers or websites? Lots of them say the same thing, hell, cm1179 made one only today that says the same thing, here:
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=24641498&postcount=5530

It's not believed by me, I've said a few times either on the forums or on Twitter that I don't think it will happen, but I would like it to.

:D <3

Tbf it was also believed very strongly by many that Schneider was on his way to Old Trafford this time last year but I don't recall seeing him on the teamsheet last season :p
