David Cameron urges internet firms to block child abuse images

Who was joking? :D

All broadband installs come with a install pack add a shiny cd containing a form of parental control software in them. (We know dumb people are attracted to shiney objects :D). ( including myself :D)

Or simply make it the homepage that appears once you start the new connection.

"Do you have children? Do you want them watching porn? No? Install this; (link) here's a tutorial" can't get much easier than that :)

What will happen to the Daily Mail website as most of its side bar consists of half naked women, some of who have only just turned 16. The Side Bar of Shame as its known.

Two comments,
One. If people were watching too much online pron then people would be walking around like fiddler crabs.

Two, if kids today are learning about sex via online pron then teenage pregnancies would be falling, (pearl necklaces)

Actually they are, there are loads of young men that think the correct way to finish sex is the same way that 99% of them finishes in porn, one couple i read on other forum wondered way she wasn't getting pregnant!

I was quite surprised at the stupidity when my wife told me this as well. She's a Sciences teacher at a secondary school, and a quite frankly alarming number of the students there honestly believe(d) that the "correct" way to finish intercourse was with a theatrical pop shot.

Stupidity beyond bounds.

Going to be awkward asking my mum to phone Sky!

I reckon that if it does happen then there will probably be an automated phone system to opt-in. The conversations people will have with Indian call centres asking to have their porn enabled would be hilarious.

I'd pay to listen in to that.

This entire thing does seem fairly odd. Why is there such a crusade on this one aspect of society? Why does nobody care about violence but breasts are the end of the world?

Just another way to spy on the public. I thought measures where already in place to track these kind of sick people, Shame on u dave using children for propagandist gain.

I think it's important to people as it just demonstrates aspects our sexual repression (which can actually lead to worse things such as oppression of woman). The fact that one can't even talk to an average Brit one meets about the human reproductive system is a joke. (Maybe not so much on this forum but then again we are not your average conversationalist).
