Moose? lol :p Graham Hunter's not much better either.

As far as I'm aware there's been no serious report linking us with him. There's been the odd "Liverpool are also interested/monitoring the situation" line in reports linking him with Spurs but nothing solid.

Tottenham have today presented a bid of 26m € + adds-on for Soldado, according to Cadena Ser[/I]

over £20m for a 28 yr old? we're talking daniel levy here!

i wouldn't want us to spend that much on him anyway. makes benteke look like it was a good idea!

has levy been on the happy pills?!

The Guardian reporting tomorrow that we're upping our bid to £35m for Cesc. Now we're approaching the kind of price where they might at least listen.

look at comparitive transfer fee's. there is surely no way barca would sell fabregas for less than £50m+?

barca could listen to a dozen bids, all the bids do is raise the clubs stock and boost theirs and the players ego or get another club interested.

what confuses me, is why the interest now and not under fergusons reign?

on the soldado thing, sounds a lot like moutinho to me. it'll reach 99% done and fail.

8 mil more and you have someone who is coming to the forefront of his career for and club and country. I think you might have snagged a good player...Better than Negredo.. as well

Cm and his valuations again...

on what planet is fabregas only worth £35m? let's say barca 'consider' the £35m bid another team with more clout would wade in.

Considering the last bit was £30 with add-ons, it's likely a £35 would include that too.

Seeing as neither of us know the details of the bid and add-ons, who knows.

£35million is already £10million more than they paid for him.

EDIT: By the way, I'm not saying I believe they'll accept, it's a done deal etc before that conclusion is jumped to and I'm made out to be hard for the transfer being done.

on fabregas
how longs left on his contract?
is he unhappy?
would he prefer manchester or the sun?
you've lost ferguson who was your biggest ace card too.

sticking point for spurs on soldado seems to be valencia want the full fee upfront, we want a %payment and add-ons. levy trying to angle the add-ons with the belief that valencia will take a smaller one off payment later down the line seems to be the general consensus. could wallop the whole deal out of the park.

Three years.

I'm not his mate.

I'm not his mate.

Sure - Manchester United are now worthless & unattractive, right on.

of course man utd are not worthless and unattractive but ferguson is a monumental loss, you can't get away from that.

He is a loss, yes.

But a lot of great clubs lose great managers, they are still fantastic clubs and they still go on, they don't suddenly become an unattractive place to go, especially when they are the champions of their domestic league.
