Derp farming some people prefer archer, personally I know I can do it at least 30% faster on the knight and it's far less risky. For normal levels and player castles though the Knight wipes the floor with the Archer, for now. Not tried the Mage ALTHOUGH I KEEP GETTING EPIC MAGE DROPS FFS!

Also remind me not to play this game whilst uploading to Crashplan and Dropbox at the same time as downloading from Steam, thought my controls were wonky until I alt-tabbed out and noticed!

Yes you can level up all 3. (But only play 1 at a time)

Other way around for me.

Gold is only ever needed for the odd building upgrade and LF chest and heart, whereas LF is used all the time for Portal/Research Lab upgrades, and summoning and upgrading mobs.

Started my 60k castle heart upgrade yesterday

Go to the hero trainer, and on the second tab, you can buy access to the knight, for 1000gold.

Ok thanks. I've just had another attack where when I view the replay the game crashes after a few seconds. Seems we have another major bug.

Just bought the next heart upgrade for 24k gold, found 2 castles with over 2000 gold to loot from them to get me the last 4500 gold

oh how I wish my heart upgrade only cost 24k.. my current one (24h in, 24h to go) cost 144k.. quite depressing when you think about it, got to max xp for level 24, went to level, "oh no, I need to upgrade my hero trainer.." but then I discover that to do that, I need to upgrade my heart, but to do that, I had to upgrade my banks, so, a day spent levelling my gold and life storage, 2 days to upgrade the heart, then another day to upgrade my hero trainer, and then finally, I will be able to level my knight..

Of course, then, I start a whole new wave of upgrading my other stuff.. all of which will make it even easier for people to farm my castle.. game is very skewwed against the defender..

No need to up your castle level, mines sitting at level 19 and my characters level 25-30.

I don't think anyone in my castles level range has beaten it first, time, the average amount of attacks they take are 4-5 to beat it, unless they give up, which normally happens.

I'm stuck in a rut. Need 8k gold more for my next heart level, but with a Lv13 archer I just get torn apart because every enemy castle is apparently using the pete poundmore Lv2 which tears me to pieces because there's no way to beat it. It charges at you if you go too far away, and there's no way to put out enough damage on it any other way.
And my knight is Lv7, and gets torn apart by pete poundmore Lv1, for much the same reason, I can't stand up against it.
