£24 too using flubit!
So far it's Pikmin, which is all goodLooks nice at 1080p - the plants and fruit look massive - controls well with the pad (haven't tried wiimote yet), and is just as charming as ever. I still get a little choked up when they die. I'm just a few hours in and have seen a few new pikmin, which are cool, and am enjoying wondering about and collecting stuff. The WiiU gets a fair bit of bad press, but the simple fact is I wouldn't be playing this game without it. Wonderful 101, Mario Kart, Bayonetta 2, Mario ...

it's a port by Treyarch
Good deal. Game looks great - looking forward to giving it a bash tomorrow.
....and? Is that supposed to be a negative thing? Treyarch have previous experience with the WiiU tech and did a fantastic job with Black Ops 2 imo. The Gamepad play etc was a terrific feature so I have no problem with them porting the game for Infanty Ward...in fact it makes a lot of sense.
Same release date as the 360, PS3 and PC, November 5th. Hopefully will generate a lot of interest in the console also...although I await poor sales of Black Ops 2 etc at the beginning of the Wii U lifecycle...Activision showing continued support with their major franchise is nothing but good news!
didn't say it was just pointing it out
Pikmin and 101 have tipped me towards the Wii U, although I've had to make do with Nintendoland and Sega racing transformed till Pikmin arrives in the post - should be tomorrow.
Wonderful 101 next after Pikmin then onto anything Mario.
Lovin it, it's entertaining the whole family. Off screen play is proper handy.
Pikmin is a serious time sink. Got it Friday, but just arrived home from holiday so could only manage Day 2. Sat down yesterday afternoon and find myself on Day 11. The kids are totally absorbed watching me (my 2 year old now thinks he's a rock Pikmin), and my daughter frequently chimes in with some 'strategy'.
I'm not surprised I love it, as the first 2 were utter class. This is just fantastic though.
