Probably lower prices on PS as there'll be more cards from more players. The polls can't be a lie the PS seems way ahead.

Agreed. I think the difference in prices that we saw around Christmas time between PS3 and 360 will just be very roughly reversed for the PS4 and One.

So noticeable differences but not game breaking.

Must have been. There was a noticeable difference in prices in the first few months. Like 20-30%+.

Swaying toward PS4 but really prefer the xbox pads. Damn it. Why can't sony just design some good pads. That said I haven't had a PS4 pad in my hands but it doesn't look great.

It's all swings and roundabouts anyway, unless you buy coins everyone is in the same boat in regards to player prices. Players may be expensive but the ones you're selling are too

Really don't know what it will be like this year with formations gone. Can't decide whether it's good or bad as formation changing and re-selling netted me good profits at the start.

Well, you'll do the same, just with Chemistry boosts.

I'll be sticking with xbox as well due to the fact of I ue my gt on xbox, games for windows etc.. the DRM lockdown stuff didn't bother me in the slightest, and too many xb users are moving away "in protest" even though its all been removed, I just don't have the time or inclination to care about that, both platforms will produce stunning looking & playing games, I'm not fussed about kinect etc.. but there is still a chance I'll find some of it useful, and £80 difference isn't even worth thinking about!

wrong,

there are so many different things which effect the market.

the more people you have on a console, means more buyers as well as sellers.

therefore if there was less people on ps3 that would mean less buyers, therefore cheaper prices theoretically at least but because there is less sellers it means it evens out. therefore more people does not equal cheaper prices as supply and demand evens out.

on pc the market is fubar'd because there are so little people that play it that means rare players are exceptionally rare meaning exceptional prices. once you get to a certain point though that would even out, but i doubt that will ever happen on pc because fifa is a pad/console game.

the big reason i believe xbox prices are cheaper is due to those dodgy accounts you can buy with like £200 worth of credit (ms points) for say £40 or whatever it is.

people buying these dodgy accounts then buying packs then transferring the players/coins to their main account, means people who are doing this are effectively driving down prices due to being able to buy packs for so cheap in the first place. it means that £40 goes a lot further on xbox, therefore more packs, therefore more players, etc.

effectively that is the main reason for them being so cheap imo.

ps3 has outsold the 360 therefore i imagine there would be more if not an even number of players on the ps3, so i dont think the more players argument holds any water unless someone has any actual sales figures from EA?

Don't think chem boosts will have same profit margins. The one that boosts pace will obviously cost the most lol.

So who's getting this on Xbox 360? Can we get a poll going to see who's getting it on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4?

I'm going to stick with my 360. Shame the ignore engine won't be on there but I've got the feeling the FIFA 13 Online community will diminish quickly once 14 is out.

I'm definitely getting the game on the Xbox One, and I'm undecided if I'll get it on the 360 as well. With GTA V due out a week earlier, I'll be tied up with that so I don't think I'll be in a rush to play it. I also may stay away from FUT this coming year, and as I highly doubt my career saves will transfer, buying it twice seems a bit pointless.

Its probably more sensible to stick with FIFA 13 than to get the new FIFA on the outgoing consoles if you arent getting the new ones. Just expect far more people to keep on with what they have than to spend money on a game thats guaranteed to have a vastly reduced install base.

Cant imagine many here not getting the XO/PS4 version eventually and either ignoring the PS3/X360 version or just getting it to keep for those few months and then selling it off...

Perhaps you could get a bargain on a second hand X360 copy once the XO verison is out?

New trailer

The new boosts kinda make getting IF players seem kinda pointless.

Example - the "Finisher" Chemistry Style will apply +3 to Shooting and Heading.
Example - the "Anchor" Chemistry Style will apply +2 to Pace, Defending and Heading.
Example - the "Power" Chemistry Style will apply +3 to Defending and Passing.
