I dont think anyone hates Bale, I just dont think many people rate him as highly as £100m.

if madrid actually ended up with bale would that mean they would need to sell to bring in suarez or even sell players just to fund bales transfer.

I remember a time after a couple of years at United when 95% of the United fans on this forum had written off Ronaldo as a show pony that wouldn't amount to much. I remember digging up the threads before where pretty much Nokkon was the only United fan on here disagreeing. That stat for the first 100 games is probably representative of exactly that, Ronaldos poor start to his United career.

Or Moyes will claim keeping Rooney for another year is better than any new addition to the squad.
Fabregas and Baines are the only players we have bid for an neither offer is approaching what either club would consider a realistic price. Apart from that we have the matter of Rooney coming or going and Nani to a lesser extent. At the current rate I will be happy to just keep Rooney and Nani for the upcoming season so that our midfield can be exposed and hopefully fixed next year / january.
