Whats he going to win at Utd, chance at the title(More so with him in it), cups could be more likely with Moyes needing to win something in his first year. But I would say no with the CL.

Home town club, in Barcelona...or Manchester...:p

If it were Fergie in charge I would be more convinced but Moyes doesnt have that same presence.

He played in virtually all of them. To what degree I cant be bothered to check each of the stats but the ones i did glance at he played fulll 90minutes

There was a summary somewhere but I can't find it. He certainly hasn't played the full 90 minutes in what you'd call 'big' games.

Yeah I see why you would want him there. He would be perfect for you. I just dont see a reason why he would want to join Utd.

I dont think its Jealousy, personally I hope you do get a bid accepted, then it opens up the big can of worms over choosing Utd over Arsenal. After all he has gone on about his love for Arsenal even after leaving it would be very interesting.

Should he choose Utd over Arsenal, probably. Cant see the other big teams sitting back though if he suddenly comes onto the market at a knock down price.

I would be highly surprised if he just left Barca for anyone this summer

He played in both the RM games(league), Milan, PSG etc...

Might not have been full 90 minutes but it is barca and they have stars on the bench too.

I think I would have been happy with the games he played if I were in his shoes.

I'd have to go through looking at all the minutes and frankly I can't be bothered, but he's often used as a sub (or subbed off fairly early) in what you'd call the 'big games'. Perhaps he doesn't want to be a 'star on the bench' when he can be a main star instead.

I'm not saying this is the case, but it could be. Perhaps it's something he's considering, and maybe there are things that have happened that we don't know about. If we were prepared to double his wage then I'm sure he'd think about it, if we agreed a fee with Barca.

Or it may all just be made up stuff from the media to sell papers. Time will tell but I would edge my bets towards him staying at Barca for at least another year.
 
I pretty sure he played more mins for Barca in La Liga last season than any other of their midfield players and its rare that he came on off the bench, I thought he started pretty much every La Liga game. Dont think he started more than 3 or 4 CL games though.

Gave up counting after six matches. So more than half the CL games he started. Others I saw him coming on after 45minutes. Looked like when he was subbed usually after about 60-70minutes but quite a few 90minutes too

They are actually reporting something without any direct quotes. He has always been able to consider a transfer request,...why do the media need to remind us 24 hours before the media coverage of Gerrard's testimonial....hmmmm?

I haven't seen any Suarez quotes since the confed cup.

Gomis fee and wages agreed just agent fee's to hammer out

Loic Remy loan agreed and wages met. Think the final bit of the puzzle there is the buyout option at the end of the season. I do believe the buyout option is in fact January.

Shola will leave if these two sign

Some nice attacking wingers and strikers we have come the start of the season.

Gomis/Pappis/Remy/Hatem/gouffran

James McCarthy is meant to be our next target

I don't think its just the media - but it could be his agent pushing for a better barca deal next time around (renewal probably isn't too far away)
