These batteries are super duper awesome for <£4. Been using one for about 24 hours (well, I don't vape in my sleep, but, ya know) and it's still going strong. Feel really well put together and look professional as a Joyetech. It's branded Bydtech. 10 days to arrive but seemingly only 4 days in transit.

Side note, anyone know the rules for non CE marked electronics and customs? I heard that any electronics that Customs find (in a random parcel inspection or damaged package repack) that don't have a CE mark will be either seized or returned to sender, presumably at the senders expense. I want to order an RC heli from FT but I have a feeling it's going to be £50 thrown away :p

received my grants vanilla custard from C9V and have to admit I'm a little disappointed with the flavour. perhaps I've been spoiling myself with Papillons lovely (though bloody expensive) organic coffee but I was expecting better after hearing people whip themselves into a frenzy about it. lesson learnt. don't always believe the hype :)

Ive got some coming myself, only a 10ml bottle though to see what the hype is all about.

At the moment im vaping bubblegum and raspberry, which i got from scope/Simon. At first i wasnt that keen on it but now i like it, really nice vape from my provari once i found the sweet spot on the voltage level.

Still got his strawberry, only vaped it quickly and wasnt too keen on it but once ive finished the bubblegum and raspberry then ill give it another go.

Regarding my last question about the protanks that i got for fasttech, thanks for the info...was a bit worried that they may be fake but seems like they arent.

Thanks man, what model should I go for?

Edit: Is it worth getting the liquid imported along with it or better off just getting that over here?

The liqua liquids are supposed to be nice. My workmate who used to smoke a pipe was vaping some Virginia pipe (i think it was called something like that) from there and it smelled really nice and oakey. I suggest the kit that comes with two batteries, two atomisers (evods are the best of the options) and a charger/case. I suggest getting a few different liquids of various nicotine strengths (10ml max) until you discover what works for you. It's very subjective so takes a bit of experimenting.

I do like a lot of liqua flavours but if it's the French Pipe, I didn't particularly get on with it. It seems to have a burnt rubber taste but I rescued it by adding some menthol crystals in PG. Now it's quite tolerable.

My flavourite Liqua flavour is Mints which tastes exactly like garden mints/softmints. If that sounds up your street, give it a try.

That's the one, and it's funny you say that because he was saying the nova he was using had menthol in previously and that it added to the flavour nicely. I didn't try it myself, but just smelling it seemed nice.

I cracked and filled a nova with my 5 day steeped (I know I know) vanilla custard DIY mix, and it's nice, but it definitely needs longer. Seems very voltage dependent too. This is the first time I've happily vaped at 8w for ages.

Keep some back and see how it improves with age. My vanilla custard mixes all smell a little perfumy but they've only been steeping for a few days.

I have one on order already, but I hope it is better than the last two I got from there, which have both died very early deaths.

Really? Same ones? This one is STILL going and I've been driving in central London vaping like mad

No sorry, should have made my self clearer. I have had two other ego style batteries that have died pretty quickly from Fasttech. Not the one you hane, which is the one I ordered last week.

Funny, I have just logged into their website and it appears they take a photo of your packaged order before they ship it. :D

Yeah I went balls-deep and mixed up a 50ml batch (used most of my concentrates in the process thanks to the recommendations of high flavour percentages). I just popped 3ml in a nova to see how it was going. Despite 17% flavour, it doesn't seem to be a very full flavour yet (maybe I'm spoilt on my SS wicks) so hopefully another week or two will improve it. It's very tasty so far though :)
