I think this a little out of my comfort zone. I would hate for something to go wrong. Thanks for all your help though but I think I'll just leave it as it is.

Just found this, not sure if it will be helpful, maybe wassa or stasio may know. According to the link it is supposed to unlock the multiplier for IB chips.

Only UEFI BIOS is with unlocked multi for IB CPU.
AWARD BIOS stuck at multi x39.
