I'm trying to get a small mod for the missis. Something the size of an ego battery (long or short) that has a rechargeable battery. Is there such a thing?

I presume you want something other than an ego battery? I really liked the look of the apollo variable voltage batteries that someone else on here posted. Compact but still packing a punch. Alternatively, maybe an iTaste?

That vape thing looks exactly like the one in my local store...anyway, thanks for that, ordered 2 (so can use one whilst charging other) and some juice in Marlboro, Red Bull, Caramel and Minty Chocolate. I'm assuming all juice stuff works in these? If so, I'll check my local for prices as his Apple Pie flavor was fantastic when he let me test it :D

Yep, all juices will work fine, but I suggest maybe having a couple different atomisers and keeping the flavours separate. You may not like mint chocolate mixed with marlboro (you might though!). I'm a big fan of caramel flavours so let me know what you think of yours.

Yeh, I meant a replaceable rechargeable battery. Trying to be a bit more cost effective.

Get a few of these. They are rebuildable, meaning you can change the atomiser head once it becomes all gunked up and burnt.

These are the heads for them. You can also completely homebrew your own heads with silica wick and kanthal wire. It looks a lot harder than it is. I recoil/wick mine in about 60 seconds :D

The juices I've been buying from FT are these Dekang flavours

Thanks for that piece of advise! Wouldn't want Minty Chocolate Red-Bull either :D I shall have to buy some of the atomizers now...

My third battery has turned up from Fasttech, as the first two died, but it has just got me thinking.

My first battery was 600mah, the second 900mah and the new one 1100mah. The charger I have always used is a basic Ego (branded) USB jobby.

It should be ok for the bigger battery should it not?

So, The Vamo....

I've sold my V3. It just didn't vape as nice as the V2. I even borrowed a friends V2 and use the same battery and tank on the two, same wattage/volts etc. The V2's vape was just better.... Oh that and the fact its bloody ugly! lol

Thinking about a V4 now, or maybe a SID, Z Max or even a Evic.

Also, going to order the RSST and bits later too, thanks for the help earlier guys. :)

Always charged mine (2x650mah, 1x900mah and my new 1100mah from FT) with the standard 4.2v/420ma USB charger. 3 of my batteries are getting on 2 years old and still working well enough

Side note to everyone, never leave your batteries charging unattended! Even usually "safe" eGo style batteries can go bang on charge

Thanks :) I will order from fasttech then. Will I have to pay import tax ect on E-stuff?

Unlikely. They mark the packages at a low value.

If you're ordering a lot, split the order so that you're not ordering everything in one large package.

Good idea :) the price there for LIQUA is half what we pay here. There is 3 of us so will do what you suggested Thanks again.

Like a few here, I am currently waiting on an SVD (and a few batteries and charger) from FT ordered on the 2nd. Deliberated a while between it and the Vamo V3, but I think the ability to lock it and that it is telescopic (as opposed to having to unscrew it) won it for me as I can quickly put in a 18350 battery if i'm off out and don't want to carry the full length.

Next I think a Protank to replace my Nova, but I want to try it with the SVD first to see if it is an improvement over my old ego twist.

Having both the Vamo and SVD, I can honestly say that you made the right choice :)

Anyone using FT EVODs?

Got 5 of them, plus 5 of the 1100mah EGO-T I linked to previously, as gifts for mates considering making the switch. They're all now converted and 2 have ordered more Evods, 1 has gone for a Vamo, ProTank and my old unprotected batts, another has bought a Semovar hybrid and the last one has his own precision engineering firm :p We are currently designing the next Caravela (I hope)...

For those whom are interested a size comparison with the GP PAPS and Vamo V2
