Switzerland to "segregate" asylum seekers

Pack my bags I'm moving to Switzerland.

The sooner something's actually done about immigration the better especially for countries Italy and Greece where thousands seem to come illegally every day. Our governments are being forced to take them in, but we shouldn't being tolerant will just mean more and more forever come. Get the army to protect the borders.
 
I find this really quite disturbing. I think it's a really sad reflection on the Swiss when they are essentially reverting back to times when this was acceptable.

Why? What Switzerland have to offer is precious. Its sought after they can pick and choose who they want to enter their country and dilute their wealth. If they make it less attractive so they end up going else where then it's w bonus for the Swiss people.

Plenty of Muslim countries out there who cqn offer asylum to their muslim brothers .

Muslim aid etc.
 
I've just come back from a month in Oz where Kevin Rudd has just implemented his new immigration policy. All asylum seekers trying to enter by boat will instead be sent to Papua New Guinea and a very uncertain future.

At least the Swiss ones got into the country to start with!

The article doesn't refer to immigrants, only asylum seekers. There's a difference.

The weather in Spain is sunny. See, I can make totally irrelevant comments too.
 
Their country, their choice.The Swiss have always gone their own way.
I have a Swiss friend who lives near Zurich, comes across as a nice, laid back, very relaxed guy, until the subject of immigrants comes up.
Personally I think Europe is only ever one small step away from reliving the 1930's anyway.

I think you have to accept that asylum laws are being flouted by those who don't deserve genuine asylum. The genuines shoujd be the ones complaining about the hoardes of fakers who have made a mockery of the system and forced the Swiss to make these changes to preserve their 9wn culture wnd way of life. An immigrant surely is not bothered about the welfare of his n3w host country. They will bleed it dry and then just move onto the next wealthy country with lax laws rinse and repeat.

The Swiss gov need to do what they need to do to protect their citizens and their wealth.

As do our government.
