Thanks for the wallpaper E1ite. Wish there was a higher res version.

Looks good. Details? Pac man ROM wasn't it? :)

EDIT: I'm looking into moving banks. If i do, I'll almost certainly root! :p

there do seem to be ways and means of getting the barclays app on to a rooted phone, although i'm a little worried about downloading a random app from some random person on XDA, its my bank details afterall!

If you want to run the Barclays App on a rooted device, you need to find v1.3.3 as anything later than that is proving difficult to run, for me and lots of other people.

I have the legit v1.3.3 on Google Drive if anyone wants it.

1.3.3 won't work straight off the bat on rooted phones does it?

cant go through 240+ pages but what does this phone have over the HTC ONE as im getting one or the other and cant make my mind up.

although half of the people i know with the S4 have a broken screen already

- Expandable Storage (Up to 64GB)
- Better Camera (Not much between them however)
- Slightly faster processor

If you're going to keep a touchwiz rom then you have all the gimmicky features like Air View/ Air Gestures etc, also the array of camera modes such as HDR/Drama Shot and animated photos.

Yes iPhones, this does not just include the 5.
Same applies to Samsung with their various models.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-23463111

"Samsung continued to dominate, shipping 107 million mobile phones worldwide."

Apple shipped 31.2milion

*Figures for April to June 2013

iPhone 5 accounts for half of Apple's smartphone sales in June

Yes, the s4 does contribute to a percentage of that 107 million shipments (how much though?) but samsung are playing by numbers here, saturating every point of the market. If they only sold the gs4 and note 2, do you still think their sales would be anywhere near as high?

http://invezz.com/news/equities/3639-samsung-share-price-galaxy-s4-sales-miss-expectations

Samsung Electronics Co-CEO J.K. Shin has told South Korean press that the Galaxy S4 shipments crossed the 20-million mark in just two months after the device first went on sale.

20 million GS4s in 2 months.....15 million iP5's sold in June alone.... 10 million vs 15 million....hmm

iNVEZZ.com Wednesday, July 3rd: South Korean smartphone maker Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) lost $25.3 billion in market capitalisation last month, as sales of its flagship Galaxy S4 handset fell short of investor expectations.

I have nothing against the S4 but clearly it isnt doing as well as samsung thought it would, which brings me back to that point:

Samsung's Sales figures would disagree

Samsungs overall sales figures actually tell us very little it comes to the iphone, because most of those sales are outside of the iphones current target demographic. I guess it'll get more interested if we get a cheap iPhone like they keep threatening to.

;)

liking cm10.2 a lot. Very smooth indeed :)

The above +

- RGB Notification LED (lots of colours vs only 2 on HTC), much bigger and clearer too
- SAMOLED over LCD (preference)
- Bigger screen + less bezel
- Super quick 2hr charge vs 3+hrs on the HTC One, 10W VS 5W.
- Much easier to Root, and it doesn't wipe the device.
- Built in Barometer (Temperature+humidity+Altitude)
- Upgradeable battery, Bigger capacity.

probam isn't a daily, imo. I've had a few issues. For example, the camera; it come with both the android 4.3 camera and CM's Focal but both have issues. 4.3 camera has artifacts all over photos taken with the front camera and photospheres arent available, while 'picspheres' are available in Focal but the sensors go nuts making the picshperes useless. Also ive had Focal lock up twice, which stoppes the camera from workingat all, needing a reboot. The second time caused a wakelock issue which drained my battery in 5 hours flat.

Other than that though......lol.

Where's the smoothness... transitions. I turn transitions off as a rule but they are seriously good on this rom (not sold on the transition types but they are very smooth indeed). good enough that I've left them on, anyway, that must say something lol.

as for extras, I havent really looked. Most of them require an extra install and I can't be bothered :p To be fair, the combination of CM/AOKP/PA doesnt leave me wanting much anyway as it's such a complete featureset. I think once android 4.3 PAC comes out of alpha i will switch back to that again:)
