If you say play a duo game with you as gold, me being in bronze i take it it would just level out the elo, so in general the opposition would be better than the current games when i soloq? So its not really in your interest to duo with higher guys?

Finally in my promo series for Bz1. Been a bit of a roller coaster ride. Went from promo into Bz1 previously all the way to Bz3 now back in the promo series. Its quite funny though because out of the entire league ive got twice as many games as the next highest, so obviously a long term bronze man compared to the rest. Would still like to get to at least silver.

300-400 fps is where mine sits lol xD wish i could cap it to say 240 fps then it would be smooth as xD

ADC is a vital role in the team and if you're bad at last hitting or generally bad at ADC you are really going to bring your team down and take a lot of damage away from team fights. Especially if you are new to LoL.

I suggest an easier top lane champion to get used to before moving on to ADC. Try Garen hes cheap and can be devastating, plus you don't have to worry about conserving your mana pool.

Thats not to say you shouldn't try ADC if it's something you fancy. Might be worth playing a few bot intermediate games before you move on to Blind/ranked.

However at the end of the day play champions that you like and find are fun for you. We all have our own play style.

If he is learning vs bots it really doesn't matter... getting the hang of last hitting in any position is important... ADC is just as easy as any role to pick up. Especially with Ashe's passive crit last hitting becomes a lot easier. There is more to the game than just last hitting I mean a lot of the time when I adc I end up being about 10CS behind but I'm much more useful in a teamfight/when my jungler ganks than the enemy adc is.

Masteries are not champion specific. Read what it does and think wether the champion you want to play will benefit from it or not. Start with the offencive mastery tree. For example Ashe would benefit from the bonus attack speed in the first tier of the offence tree. Other champions would benefit from other things but you can actually combine a champion with several masteries of varying effects so long as they work with your intended champion. I tend to use three generalised mastery pages unless I feel the need to change it for a specific role I'm going to play.
 
Well finally made it to bz1 after having lost the first promo game. Aiming for silver by the end of the season.

I had an ashe last night that was so bronze she wasnt even last hitting... She bought boots 2 health potsand a mana pot.. first back beserker greaves... She got nooo kills and was useless. But I made some good plays and helped rengar kill their carries ^.^ also she literally went "report top and mid for feed" then kept saying "report report" I actually went "this is whats called bronze mindset... We can turn this and win" surprise surprise we won... Their top dc'ed though. But still won :D
 
After over 1000 wins I finally blew my top and will probably get banned for 2 days, the sheer stupidness of last nights Ashe in ranked made me erupt.

She did 4 last hits in the first 20 mins with me bot as Soraka support and clocked up 5 deaths from Cait alone who was mega fed and hungry come mid push. could have clawed it back as Poppy was carrying us but Ashe went solo to clear jungle for the rest of the match and ended with 14 deaths.

We lost and she laughed in chat and said we need to L2P....and everyone agree'd to report ME for flaming FFS!
 
Is it worth paying for boosts to get into ranked games or do I need to really grind out the exp? I am level ten at the moment but still seem to be playing with people who have absolutely no idea what they are doing and it's frustrating.
 
Think that was my best CS at 20 mins ever last night in a 5v5 ranked was 187-191 somewhere between those, there was so much poke and harass too from both sides -.-

Slowly getting better as AD I think, just got to remember I shouldn't lead charges!

Up to you really. I t depends on how quick you want to get to level 30 and wether you can be bothered to spend the money or not on boosts.

If you're frustrated now wait til you start playing Bronze ranked games....

your best bet is try to control your frustration and anger when playing LoL, don't flame and focus on your own game. The moment you lose focus is when you are likely to lose. PMA really does work and helping instead of hindering.

Had a blind picked ranked game yesterday where out top lane Karma wanted to report me as an unskilled player because she died when I came up to gank top lane (her own fault for not backing out of the fight as she was way to low on health to stay but guess she was being greedy and wanted the kill) so she decided to AFK the last 15 minutes of the game. We still won and I was 9/2/15. No one moaned in the team, everyone just did there jobs and pushed hard. Now this could have gone the other way where others could have left or started to bitch about things and whine. Thats the difference if you have good players that dont flame or spend half the time typing in chat.

You will always have games where it will frustrate you, you're better of getting used to it and letting it go over you.

Focus on your own game.
 
aww man I picked up blitz last night, tried him a few times before on and off and failing. By the third game it was beep boop, son. All those years of reflecting rockets in tf2 finally pay off :D
 
imo boosts are the worst thing you can do to get to 30 quick. I think the extra time it takes getting there helps you mature as a player and is a great learning process.
