if you want to do that flaming challenge, you can do it in the bowman in hucknall too... its on the end of my road also

I think that the trip would be a good place to meet up, and then decide on where to go from there..
do they still have the boat? my mum worked there at one point and was the only person who wanted to clean it
(must have been in the late 80s or early 90s)she didn't die yet btw
although the wiki suggests it was never cleaned? I'm pretty sure she told me she did and shes not the type to make up crap

Lol is that because there's a rough knocking shop opposite it?
When i was a student i used to work in the new agent in the evenings/weekends opposite the rose and crown. Theres a "Spa" above the hairdresser in that block thats really a dodgy knocking shop with 5-6 women in it. Used to make me laugh at how many tradesman vans were parked in the car park at the rear come lunch time, there for a "quick lunch" lol
