Hi guys,

I have £1000 to spend (absolute max is £1200) on a PC, mainly used for editing/video effects in programs such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. I may also do some light gaming.

The only condition is that it must have a Gigabyte motherboard.

I already have:
Windows 7 OS
DVD-RW drive
21.5 inch monitor

Thanks!

Edit: Max budget now increased to £1300!

Change the RAM to the Kingston in my build above runs faster for the same price and Haswell likes fast ram.

The PSU is good, the Antec offers modular and is just as good even though lower wattage.
Also the CPU includes the watercooler as a bundle in build.

My review of the case:

I know you get the CPU and H100i together, but you lose the longer warranty on the 4770k.

Hi,
Just looking to future-proof myself really. Would an 850W run 2 780s and a 4770k overclocked, if I ever wanted to upgrade to cards like those? Or am I better going with a slightly more expensive PSU like the AX1200i for future-proofing?

750w would run 780 SLI and your overclocked 4770k.

The 1200w would for triple or quad titans!!

Fair enough :)
