Con Men.

why are you annoyed?

If people are daft enough to pay £60 for a rubber band let them

Hey, you wanna check out the OCUK motors thread. There's people on there paying £18,000 for a FIESTA  £18,000!!!!!!!!!!!

It's their money, and they can spend it on what they like. How many people have spent £1,000 on a graphics card here?

£18k is not bad for a new fiesta.

I would definitely feel back for the people being conned in this situation, but I probably wouldn't be assertive enough to do something about it.

I think rather than trying to convince people they don't work (which would be hard in some cases) you'd be much better off with the "they're half his price on Amazon" approach.

This happens all the time :s. Just get over it and prevent your family being conned. Stuff everyone else frankly. Its all about balance as it were.

Aye, this really. It's like the Microsoft India Scam, every member on here hasn't printed off 1k leaflets and handed them out? Just tell your family about it and move on.

The man who drives the sweet and puppy dog van wanted to sell me some wares I jumped in the back and all I got was anal stretching and a lollipop in my mouth, I want my money back!

people are allowed to believe in what ever they want....

some people believe there's a magic cosmic Jewish Zombie, who, if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, will remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

so dont worry about idiots people believing that a piece of rubber can give them balance.

And an update signature is born.

e: damn, it is too long and I can't prune enough and keep the punch :(

The thing is, the people that buy them really DO think they work. The placebo effect is a very strong and real reaction, and therefore I suppose in that respect it has worked for them.

Although I do agree, people that are selling this kind of stuff are scum! I used to work with a woman that had a plastic box with a red light on it that tou put asprin inside and used to the machine to channel "positive thoughts" about 7 years ago my brother found a lump inhis abdomen and she offered me a "happy thoughts" pill to help him... I told her to please fully star swearing! off and that we were going to a private specialist instead!! :P
