*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

like the blue pad more than the red, as for the release date i guess it doesnt matter for me now im being mucked about with work wise so il probably grab one easter anyways now.

one fun thing this morning is the amount of anti sony/ps4 posts on any news story that leans towards sony having a good keynote speech, i know theres loons on both sides but some of these posts are just getting out of hand.

i moved from bt to sky after 4 years plus of waiting for my exchange to get llu'd so at least im not being reamed by bt anymore. hopefully they will hook up with both sky and bt as it means good pings all around for multiplayer hopefully.

Now we have a release date I hope it isn't too long before they can confirm how many units are being allocated to each store.

Every time I get an email on my phone I keep hoping that it's Amazon telling me I'm getting one on launch day only to be disappointed with spam. :)

I just noticed on shopto they are still guaranteeing launch day delivery for all pre-orders! Thought Anything after 6th Aug wasn't going to be doable.

no they aren't i just checked and it still says that on the bottom left of the image, anything after 6th of august isn't guaranteed, but if a lot of people cancel you may be in with a shout.

If you search for the PS4 on the site part of it shows the disclaimer about not guaranteeing orders after the 6th August then when the actual page loads it says they will guarantee it.

I'd assume any order isn't guaranteed at this point.

I bought a PS3 late in it's lifecycle, the newest revision, really cheap and was able to get all the best games cheap as well and PS+ has been awesome. I don't really want to get a PS4 at launch as most of the big titles will be on PC, would rather pick one up later on when they are cheaper along with some of the exclusives. Wandering if PS4 games will be able to be queued from my existing PS+ account, so that when I do buy a PS4 I will be able to grab all the games collection I have built up from PS+?

Is this possible? If so, Sony are awesome ! :D

This is what I'm wondering too.

I was dead set on getting a PS4 but literally everyone of my friends is going Xbone so I may have to go that way.

I will definitely be picking up a PS4 along the way (as well as still enjoying my PS3) and it would be nice not to lose out all the PSN+ goodies.

To be honest, I don't think they'd allow it. It just doesn't make sense.

I don't see why they wouldn't actually.

If you can still purchase stuff through your we browser like you can now then it should be on your download list which is tied to your account and not a particular console.

Ah missed that bit. They should probably remove the Pre-order guarantee section from the PS4 page as it's slightly misleading!
