Got a ProVari today and I have to say, I'm not impressed. The controls are awful, the Vamo puts it to shame. Also makes my juice taste burnt even at 3.6v and doesn't kick as hard as my Paps.

It does feel very nice and solid but don't think I'm going to keep it.

I only use my Paps in 18350 mode. I'm not a heavy vaper during the day. I do probably over 30 mins and when I get home the battery still has about 3.8v left. So I would say a full charged battery would give you about 1 hour vape time... and is it worth it?... Hell yeah!

The PAPS is a thing of beauty and the size is perfect. Shame they are so hard to get hold of.

Pink-mule dispatched my stuff but sadly GLS (not JLS) are not very good at delivering stuff. It's been out on the van for 2 days now and back in storage :( So no GVC for me yet.

Seem a bit pricey for what you get. I'm not a fan of the cigarette lookalikes because the batteries don't hold a great charge, and the auto pressure switches break too easily. I would suggest a kit that comes with an ego battery and a decent clearomiser. Battery will last you all day, push button to activate so it always works, and you can refill the clearomiser with a liquid of your choice cheaply. I'm sure someone who isn't on their phone will link you to a kit that will do all that for less money than the kits in that link :)

Sorry I posted because a Friend stared this business 3 years ago and has done very well.
 
im out of my depth with this rebuildable atomizer. im useless with my hands and this is all too fiddly and frustrating. at least i know know its not for me

It helps to have small fingers, but I would stick with it, or at least keep the materials in case you want to have another go. The savings are just so epic it's worth keeping at it. Mesh on the other hand, that takes the patience of a saint!

Yes. The switch is practically a touch switch, it's so light, and the throw of it is about 0.5-1mm. The threads are perfect, the telescoping 510 connector/battery positive post is brilliant. It is very conductive. You can put the v2.5 down on a flat surface switch unlocked and it will not fire. it is ~25mm bigger than the battery you put in it (compact)

A paps costs as much as three sigeleis that dont perform well (sigelei 19) or are unsafe (sigelei #20) or have stupid design farts like a spring in the glued together (doh!) switch so hard it's painful to fire (sigelei 8w) and probably won't last. Customer service with the paps is good. I use mine with 18650 2000mah Efest IMR V2 batteries, or AW IMR 2000mah and get about a day and a half (i only use IMR). A good (AW) IMR 18350 should last ~4-6 hours - your mileage will vary depending on vape habits, setup, and battery quality.

There is also the Gus Core, the Atimizoo Dingo/Roller, the nemesis, and many other devices which are quality made in europe which are also worth the money. Quality not limited to GP Products.

Advice: buy noalox grease for the threads. good 'looking after it' stuff.

What am i doing wrong?? nothing but hotspots and even when i dont get a hot spot i th ink it shorts. Ive oxidised 3 wicks so much im getting damn good at it O_o and this looks like ma best coil.

When you finished building the coil, use the Vamo to check the ohms (long press on the power + button) if it read 9.9ohms you have a short.

Hot spots are fine and can be worked out. When you initially build it, gently pulse it (hit the power button for less than 1 second, slowly increase the duration when the coil warms up). When there is a hot spots, normally on the top coil. Get something to gently wiggle the coil that has the hot spot and continue pulsing till there is no hot spots.

Also make sure the wick is not touching the bottom of the tank or the other coils are touching the center post, as this will create a short.

Looks ok to me, if that is a vamo underneath, it will say if there is a short.
Regarding hot spots, u just have to make small adjustments to the coil using a needle or a toothpick or similar.
i usually get a hot spot at the top near the centre post, but as i said, little adjustments tot he coil will sort it

oh and push the wick down to the right height
 
i stuck with it and had a hard hour or 2 but im glad i did, all set up and sorted and vapes fantastic, will only get better as more practice its reading 2.2 on my vamo and tastes great, just on the grants custard at min, both me and my bro are very impressed

 
I have it at 1.7 Ohms atm - no hotspots are showing but i put 18mg of juice in the thing and instant headrush LOL.

Clearly though my oxidising of the mesh with a lighter is not cutting it im not getting clouds of vapor so i will improve in time. I need to take this juice out for something less strong and also get a PROPER blowtorch tommorow lol. Fingers hurt.
 
Im not a smoker (Unless im drunk) or even an ex smoker but these vaporisers have me very interested in them. Some of the things guys at work amaze me flavours wise etc.. Its incredible.. Is there something anyone to recommend to get started and some links to e-liquids for them?

It sucks as i just came from a town with a very good shop selling everything in Flintshire :/

Actually he manufactures them in the US, when I say he has done well his company is worth several hundred million USD now.

seems to be big business.
