It is so small!!!! Look at the size comparison can't wait to get the Genesis on it

Nice Roller, your not going to be able to go back to your Vamo. I only use my to check ohms now :D

Anyone try this method?

What kind of favours do you vape Allnamestaken? Because silica wicks normally gave better favour on for custard type juices and SS is better for tobacco favours.

Group shot time!

Vamo V2 with Kanger Protank, eGo case, 2x CE5 and 1x Vivi Nova (behind the bottles), eGo-T 900mah with a Kanger Evod (In a stand built by the wonderful Wazz-1, bunch of spare Kanger heads, Innokin SVD with a Kanger Protank...

Juices are Vapeland Apple (blue stripe brand equivalent, it tastes like!), Scope's Strawberry, Grant's Vanilla Custard, and in the front row Decadent Vape's Apple Pie, Sweet Cloud's Menthol (actually really nice, local shop down the road from me in Farnborough), ecigwizard's Mrs B's Vanilla Custard, and a sample bottle from Scope of his Banana.

that roller mod looks very bland for the money. doesnt look worth the price tag

It looks nice in person, its nice SOLID construction wise it fires amazingly. Its simplicity is key its size is also what makes it great. I dont want some 24kt gold plated device i have to worry about. This thing is precisely made to do exactly what it needs to do while being solid well built completely rebuildable and smaller then an 18350 Vamo!

I paid 70 something euro without delivery, for the price it is amazingly good.

Definately worth the money.

scopes banana tastes very synthetic i really didnt like it, the only juice of his i havent enjoyed. He does a nice berry one have you tried that, very fruity

Thanks bud im already loving the look of it im not going to use a carto on it though till ive cracked my Genesis!

I vape a lot of things i highly dislike tobacco flavours however, I dont even know how one would role a silica wick on a Aga lol.

How does that compare to Grants?

Its a piece of cake, works everytime and no hot spot. Here is a messy example of my build... I like to blast it with 4.6volts!

Tastes a bit... darker is I guess the only word, slightly more biscuity. Not bad, although I have to admit I'm not overly in love with Grant's. Might just be that my bottle needs to steep a bit longer.

Yeah, he sent it to me as a free tester sample, must admit that since doing an Evod with it I haven't touched it since. Have tried all 4 of his main flavours, definitely in love with the Apple Tart but want to try and finish off some of my selection of bottles before I order any more from him!

a word of warning with the spheroid and sera wool guys, i went through over 10 mill of juice in one evening. it absolutely eats the stuff so bare this in mind the costs will increase massively, 10 mill normally lasts me a week

Its a similar story with a the KayFun Lite. Just like buying a fast car and using more petrol... expensive business :(

Hey bro, I wet the wick and light it with e juice and everything. The whole quenching thing, i watched it on youtube am i doing t hat wrong you think.

I don't bother with the quenching... Works perfectly well without that step.
All you're trying to achieve is a layer of carbon over each individual strand of mesh on the outside of the wick. Using a lighter is ok, but can cause problems if the flame is too yellow, as the soot will quickly build up and clog the individual holes in the mesh, reducing the capillary action used to wick the juice. and also tastes vile.

As I mentioned previously, a Kitchen Blowtorch is excellent, but otherwise, a Wind-Proof type gas lighter (with a strong, blue flame) is just as good, only takes a little longer as the blow torch heats more area at a time...

If you have a gas stove top, then that will achieve the same result too...

Use whatever you have to hand - just make sure you heat the coil end of the wick to red hot a couple of times, then juice it and set light a couple more times.

Once the wick is installed, I don't worry about any hot spots until I've pulsed a couple of dozen times. Most hotspots, when following the method I talked about (Drill bit/PetarK method) will work themselves out after a few pulses - you'll see the coil glow just on the top wrap, then the glowing will continue to develop along each coil turn, with each progressive pulse.

If I have problems because I notice gaps between coil and wick (looking straight down onto the coil & wick, with a light behind the mod) then I remove the wick and reverse-roll (when you first roll the wick, to tighten it up you will be rolling your thumbs away from you, so flip the wick 180 degrees) and each roll in the same direction will loosen the wick, widening the top. A couple of firm, reverse-rolls just at the coil end, should allow you to still easily slide the wick into the wick hole, but the wider end should now make better contact with the coil.

Pulse again and repeat the above method if still no luck.

Ultimately, mesh wicks/rebuildables, are all about patience. The cardinal rule being: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" :)

I would suggest holding one - you'll change your mind, I promise!
It's solid - the engineering and finish is beautiful - the threads are so precise you can spin and let go and it'll pretty much tighten itself up.
Compared to my Sigelei 19B, you can see where the money has gone. I'm proud of my Sig, but next to the Dingo/Roller, it's just a piece of mass-produced poop. I am certainly having to restrain myself from buying one. If I hadn't set my heart on eventually owning a Mark Bugs Wizard/Wand, I'd happily order a Dingo!

Spent the morning modifying the switch on my Sigelei 19B - reducing the throw (Only 1mm travel now) and the pressure needed. It's much lighter to activate, but still won't fire if stood on the unlocked switch. Now vaping some excellent Dr Stanley Clarke's Snake Oil (www.tmax-juices.co.uk) in my Nautilus - Fantastically warm citrus and cool exhale - lovely!

Switched to my All Day Vape, the exquisite Scope's Apple Tart (in the Aga-T2) and the contrast between the two really helped bring out the flavours in both!
