if you ever take your pads round to mates houses it can be useful so you know which one is yours, so you take the correct one home with you, etc.

once somebody ended up taking away the wrong pad and ended up with a sixaxis instead of a DS3 or bringing one with a dodgy button and taking home a perfectly working one, etc.
 
Bleh, do not like. Needs some dark, tasteful colours. Still, credit due for actually launching with coloured stuff available, usually Sony end up showing the coloured stuff off pre-launch but only release them years later.

For now, I've just got the console, Killzone and Drive Club bundle, plus a second controller, pre-ordered at Game. Considering cancelling the controller though as I doubt it'll be used much and I could use the money for another game!

Reckon I'll go multi-platform for the third game. Maybe BF4 but still weighing up what system for that.

i have no games on order yet... thinking ill pick something up on the release day at the local hmv. either bf4 or CoD:G. and something maybe off the psn.

on the subject of coloured controllers, im liking the blue and the red.

if it was me, personally i'd like to see a white or midnight purple controller maybe.
 
Those driveclub videos look so much better graphics wise...Maybe its just because the other track looked so bland but im not keen on the handling. After watching the forza videos it looks poor in comparison.
 
Anyone know if we will see bundles? Just noticed Shopto have got a few for the XO, just nothing for PS4 - I dont even think Amazon have either...

I think I need to buy at least one game, Watchdogs and Killzone...

well il be looking for a vita+ps4 bundle when i buy as that remote play looks like it could be handy for gaming outside when it gets too warm. or toilet breaks of course seeing as we dont get manuals an inch thick anymore :(

Vita Im not too sure about still, ultimately its only really on my radar due to PS+ which isnt really the way it should be. I await the PS4 second screen app and see how that delivers, though I suspect the Vita will be a better experience, especially if they actually bother to do things like it being the rear view mirror in driving games or something.

I just cant think of places where I need to play away from my PS4 and will have a good enough connection/time to actually bother to do it. Its a great draw just when I look at it realistically it will go the same way as my DS did - sold...

Currently have a blue and a somewhat knackered black ds3. The blue looks better imo but the original one feels better, the blue plastic is very slippery in comparison, hope that's not the case with the ds4.

Edit - possibly its due to the black controller being so old, years of dirt and skin etc may have made it grippier.
 
Please can someone confirm if Drive Club will have that ultra realistic penalising bull **** if you touch other cars like in GT5 and Fonza?

zoom in on the pictures, you can actually see the texture of the black at the back, it is indeed more grippy

edit: take a look at the last picture of the blue controller

Shopto tweeted that they will have the ps4 bundles up soon
