Switched to my All Day Vape, the exquisite Scope's Apple Tart (in the Aga-T2) and the contrast between the two really helped bring out the flavours in both!

Heading down to maplins :D after work to get a blowtorch some drill bits and a washer to use to properly trap the coil wire. Then off home to patiently touch my Aga up to make use on my sexy Dingo.

HURR My evening is planned. Also Scopes juices have arrived so WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cant wait.

Them Mark Bugs aren't cheap, £250 is a bit too much for me.

Performance is impressive - for a £30 mod. Obviously, battery life varies, depending on size; 18350 lasts me most of the day, I don't know about 18500 and 18650 (this Panasonic one) lasts 2-3 days! The fact that it's telescopic means you can use whatever you want, also with a kick if you choose on everything except 18650.

I prefer my brushed Stainless Steel 19B, available for £29.99 here; I got it for £25 from the UKVapers Forum Classifieds (they quite often pop up, but you have to be quick as they're snapped up by people looking for their first Mech) or you can pick up the Brushed Brass 19E version (new version also has an improved firing pin and switch) a couple of quid more.

My best mate has treated himself to the brass version and we're in discussions about mixing & matching end pieces...

Looking on the Celtic Vapes site, you could build yourself a custom 8/19B/E using the spare parts available - all you need:
A Button £4.99 (Brass for an extra quid!)
An 18350 Tube £3.99 (or get the 18500 if you want to use a Kick)

A SS Head £4.99 (Or get it in Brass for the same price)

And an 18350 IMR Battery (Can get 2x Efest 800mAh for £7.99 delivered by emailing [email protected] - he'll ask for a Paypal payment to the same email address)

In fact - that's bloody good - a top performing mod with such fantastic looks, for £22 including 2 batteries (plus whatever Celtic Vapes charge for p&p) :eek:
 
Im going to give this another go after I eat lol. So tell me what to do here Red :P Im making coil rolling wick inserting wick burning making sure even glow then dab juice on it burn it see wasup if no hot spots fill tank and all good righhhhh
 
My first tip would be to do the drill bit method and set the coil in place and pulse it.

Next roll the wick and give it a slow burn with a jet torch till it's glowing red hot, then quench with water and repeat three times. Now get the ends of the wick red hot (This is where most shorts occur so give it a good blast all over). Now use the e-liquid to set the wick on fire, do this 4-5 times.

Now once that is done, make the wick fit the hole and coils and cut a 45 degree angle on the bottom of the wick. Blast this with the jet again as being just cut, parts of the coil need oxidising again. Blast the whole thing over once more.

Now put it back in the coils and test fire to check for hot spots. If there are hot spots, get the wick back out and concentrate on the area where the coils touch the wick.

Repeat until you get an nice and even coil. Now that you have an even coil, drop some juice on the wick twice until it dry burns. If it does this without hotspots, you're ready to fill the tank and vape like a champ.

No problem dude, it took me days to get my first coil right. I was inspired by your struggle to give it another go with my RSST since the existing coil was playing up.

Here's one I made last night that was surprisingly painless (funnily enough the peter k method failed me, one coil always ends up being loose and getting hot) so I just wrapped this straight on the wick and it was fine (usually shorts every time lol)

I just cant seem to get it right i always get hot spot on the top. No matter what i do :(

GLS finally delivered after 3 days out in the van. The driver called as he had no GPS to find the address. Thumbs up for Pink-Mule but GLS sucked. On a plus he knows the way now for future orders.
 
Placed another order with Scope (Simon)

30ML of Raspberry again, but now decided to try some Apple Tart bought 10ML of that depending on how I find it I'll have to stock up on the stuff. Scope has also chucked me a sample of Berry I believe in my parcel.

Will come back here to let you know my thoughts on Apple Tart tomorrow fingers crossed, For whoever may be interested.
 
Seems I have it going at the moment :) it only BARELY glows alittle in the top coil when im not tiling as I have not got a full tank at the moment. Either way when it is taking juice it does not go bright its a really mellow LOW glow cant really see it and it seems to be fine. I got a 3 wrap coil at the moment just going to leave it for the moment see how it gets.

Is it suppose to get so hot though generaly in comparrison to a normal carto or clearo.
