*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 Thread ***

If you mean Halo? Its a permanently visible on screen notification system, can be setup with apps to display when you have texts/emails/Facebook notifications and display them so you can access them anywhere, it also opens a small version of the app so you can reply using that app.

hmm. Not seeing an option. was there one before? I'm sure you've complained about not having the option before :p

I do indeed hate the lights.

I complained that I couldn't find the option but did eventually find it in 4.2.2.

There seems to be an app someone has made as a workaround for 4.3 but why remove it from PACMAN/CM10.2. Bah!

CM has the option for the buttons.
Does PACMAN Rom not incorporate the 3 roms fully?!

Has the call mute issue been solved in 4.3?
I honestly wish they would sort the camera out so i can go back to PA and easily apply themes across all the apps and system with one push of the button.
BUT, i doubt the camera will ever be on a par with TW :(

Does CM10.2?

The camera will never be great on AOSP like it is on 4.3GE as that uses some TW Framework.

I'm not sure about CM10.2 but 10.1 had the option. A quick look at the thread over at xda would suggest that CM10.2 does have the option for 3sec, 6sec, on and off.

You'd think they would rip the camera FW from GE4.2/4.3 and add it or intergrate it to AOSP by now.....

indeed.

Of course, you could always do it manually.

/sys/devices/platform/i2c-gpio.16/i2c-16/16-0020/leds/button-backlight/max_brightness.

change it to 0. save. boom.

1. Cool

2. They can't just rip the cam as it's based on TW framework afaik. Just like they can't rip the s-view stuff.

indeed.

Good to know, cheers.

Does anyone know if the uk is going to get the lte-a version with the snapdragon 800 as that is the one I am waiting for.

Whats the latest baseband and where do you go about acquiring it? I've flashed allsorts and I'm currently on the GE ROM but I think I've managed to leave my baseband behind.

I'm showing I9505XXUAMDM, am I right in thinking we're up to something like MGA now?

Update: so I flashed MEA using Odin (flashed in phone) all said OK, baseband is still showing as MDM?

And ideas? Also saw the XX modems go up to MG9, anyone tried that high?

Got my repair back from o2. Working all good now. Not sure what they did to fix it but they said they repaired it and flashed the latest MEA o2btu firmware. But still rooted and flashed to MGA already. All working fine, no longer loosing battery or restarting or shutting down for now. Will keep a close eye on it over next few days. Prompt service from them.

@matt100 MGA is the latest baseband. There is an issue with some phones not flashing it properly. You need to :

1.: Flash stock kernel (if not there)
2.: Flash stock recovery (if not there)
3.: Download the modem you want
4.: In Odin remove the "Auto Reboot" hook
5.: In Odin click on PHONE, load your Modem and press START
6.: Wait at least 2 Minutes after the process to be completed (otherwise it goes wrong)
7.: Hold the power-button on your device for 10 seconds to reboot
