So today I went and bought myself my first vapourizer. It's probably rubbish to what you guys have though. It's an Eros CE4 and I've got apple and blueberry juices at 1.2 and 1.8. I've vaped my way through about 2ml in 6 hours, very enjoyable.

I like fruit juices, I'd very much like to try Scopes, where do you guys buy from?

I have this Eros for out and about but I'd like something more powerful for at home. Howevet I don't really want to be doing all this wire and wick stufg all the time like you guys haha :p. With that in mind would some of you guys like to give me some ideas for a more powerful vaper? Say up to £60-70, around that. Cheers guys :).

Give scorchisio a trust message and he will get you the details for Scopes e juices.

You wouldn't need to spend that much even. For something easy to use, but able to kick out the jams, I would suggest some form of variable voltage/wattage mod (allows you to crank up the power to get more vapour and throat hit). Something like the Vamo or Innokin SVD, some 18650 batteries, and a decent charger (I recommend the nitecore i2 or i4, and then plonk a protank atomiser on top and jobs a good'un. All under budget.

Note: fasttech takes ages (we're talking 2-3 weeks) to deliver, but they are way cheaper than anywhere else.

Cheers mate. :)

Thanks for the info mate. What ohm/voltages do you suggest? In all honesty I just clicked the drop down links to check the options and it just got more confusing. :p

There are various kits you can get with either mod (various combos of atomisers/batteries/chargers/etc).

I would suggest the vamo 5-in-1 with nitecore Euro plug (the plug is just a figure of 8 lead you can replace with one lying around the house). Comes with batts and a charger so you're all set.

or if you prefer the SVD (I have both, and the SVD is slightly better built, but the Vamo has an easier menu system so take your pick) then get the battery compartment option (just the device itself) and pick up some decent unprotected panasonic 18650 batteries (you can also use 18350 batteries in mini-mode to make the mod smaller when you're on the go, at the cost of battery life), and a charger for them.

Both devices do between 3V-6V or 3W-15W (different methods of doing the same thing), and the resistance of the coil in the protank isn't a big deal since you can always raise or lower the volts to compensate (remember, V=I*R, and heat output is related to current). As long as the coil resistance is above 1.2Ohms, which all of them will be, then you're fine. If you want to use it on your basic battery as well, I'd recommend a lower resistance head though. most basic ego batteries only do 3.7V at best, and on a 2+Ohm coil that isn't enough to give a decent kick.

I know it can be a bit mind-boggling at first (I was the same), but the simple way to think of it is this: SVD or Vamo, both are just ways of putting the power into your atomiser (any atomiser will fit these). All you need is batteries to put in them (either 18650 or 18350 unprotected batteries, ie with no nipple on top) and something to charge those with. After that you just plonk your atty on top and fill her up. Coil resistances aren't important on VV/VW devices, so don't worry about it. I suggested the protank because it's easy to use, cheap, produces decent flavour/vapour, and you can recoil it later on if you want to give it a go.

Excellent advise from Devrij there, only thing to add is that with the Kanger Protank and similar atomisers you will occasionally need to buy a replacement coil head - either that or learn to rewick them. The latter, while a faff at first becomes very easy with practice, and is significantly cheaper in the long term.

The Protank is the best testing atomiser I've come across myself in the last 4 months, with the Evod (also made by Kanger) a close second. Certainly for ease of use they are the 'next step' up from basic kits.

The Vamo & Nitecore charger kit at Fasttech.com is fantastic value. I paid £27.99 delivered for my Nitecore i4. You'd effectively be getting the Vamo for £8.
Be sure to order the Stainless steel version. Chrome finish is naff, scratches far too easily and is a fingerprint magnet.

I got the chrome one maybe 6 months back and a lot of the chrome has worn away. So this is a good shout. Basically around the button and just behind it are now a coppery colour. Doesn't really worry me but I'd pick the steel one if I was buying one today.

I agree a Vamo is a good starting place. You are getting good a charger and batteries which will work with anything you might want to 'upgrade to' to. Not that I think you'll need to upgrade it as it is a good device but often people do.

Well, after an evening in with my Best Man, sampling my selection of Scope's juices, Ambrosia and Snake Oil, I'm left with approx 4ml Apple Tart, 2ml Ambrosia and nothing else, since the bugger's swiped the "emergency" Bananana and the last of the Snake Oil from my fridge.
So I've been juice shopping;
100ml Accies Ambrosia (UKVapers Forum PM only)
160ml Dr Stanley Clarke's Snake Oil (www.tmax-juices.co.uk)
60ml Scope's Apple Tart (via email only)
30ml Scope's Raspberry
60ml JJ's Peach, (www.joosejuices.co.uk)
60ml JJ's Strawberries & Cream
10ml JJ's Pecan
10ml JJ's Maple Syrup (will mix with the Pecan and steep - hoping for a Pecan Pie type flavour)

So, just shy of half a litre of top quality juice - should see us through to the end of the month :p

Although, with what we've just spent, we really should seriously consider brewing our own...

Bear in mind this is being split between the two of us (only one lot of shipping to pay this way), and Joose juices has a BOGOF offer at the moment (only on 30ml bottles) and 10ml samplers are £1.49...

Ok, it's still a lot of juice! ;)

I have some serious mixing to do. I've rinsed out 8 of my little juice bottles and got some labels prepared, so when they dry out (tomorrow hopefully) I'm going to go crazy and mix up 100ml of base and then go all mad scientist with some of my new flavours (capella apple pie, capella caramel, and maybe fiddle about with a hint of graham cracker in my vanilla custard in a 20ml batch). It's going to be fun :D

I've been hearing some very good feedback on this guy's juices. His prices are damn good too:

http://www.yaeliq.com/

Based in Israel. $18 for 100ml, $10 shipping but orders over $50 shipping is included.

I've not tried any of his juices myself yet but plan to soon.

Just received another order yesterday from vapist.net. formerly vapist vapourizers. Very good next day delivery on both orders so far. Good packaging. I have got some Belgian waffle e liquid from him and it is the most authentic and delicious natural tasting juice I've had so far. Also received 50 mill accies ambrosia next day delivery. From northern Ireland. Yet to try it yet.

This thing is hitting better than the RSST at the minute. This is the first time I used the drill bit method and is blowing out clouds. That atty is a clone of the Z-Atty Pro.

It is made from steel (not brass), has a pyrex tank and is very well made. All for the sum of £10 something delivered.

Oh and for anyone who has a KTS and gets the hot button syndrome, sand down the contacts to brass on the buttons contacts points and the post underneath the hot spring. This will solve that problem due to the chrome plating acting as a resistance point.

Just had a try of accies ambrosia. It's a very good competitor to grants custard but a lot easier to get hold of. It smells similiar to GVC and tastes great as well. The real stunner for me is Belgian waffle from vapist.net. can't get enough of it. Would advise anyone to buy some
