My First Build - Need Help and Advice

No competitor names or links etc dude.

Just list what you have and are thinking of buying and leave out the prices.

Please edit your post as your linking to competitors which is against the rules and check the FAQ :)

With the competitor links and your signature. I suggest you read the forum rules (that you agreed to) before you post again.

I'm trying to avoid overclocking and the likes, I'm only sticking with one monitor and only sticking to one GPU so I don't need anything that is very powerful but I want it to be up to date.

Basically I want an up to date PC that is simple but powerful.

No Overclocking!!!! that's ban worthy :p

But go with a K series cpu as it will give you a option in the future to overclock and get a free performance boost! :D

True, I know but currently I just want a computer that works for gaming and I'm not a rich person so each part is important to me because I'm getting these parts over 4 months but at the same time, I'm not a cheapskate since being cheap doesn't get you anywhere so I am trying my best with the limited knowledge I do have to get the most up to date gaming computer I can afford.

An HD 7950 is very much Haswell Compatible and better, to spend £80 on RAM is mad unless like me you do themed builds.....plus that Antec PSU is seasonic inside (the Rolls Royce of PSU's).

See I don't know this stuff.

I would rather stick to £150 GPU's for now, as long as I can play games in good quality @1920x1080 then that is all I need for now, I just need the ability to upgrade so I can always replace my GPU in the future if needed which is why I am going for Haswell instead of Ivybridge.

EDIT: But then again it is only £40 more.... I'll need to think about it. That same RAM I linked cost £65 at the place that I cannot name so it isn't overpriced.

All the ram that has been suggested will work.

Ok thank you, you can see how limited my knowledge is can't you? :p

In any case, is the build I have made good and is there any improvements that could be made? If not then thank you everyone for your help.
