Oh dear, only in America eh?

I think some of those people should put down the jizz stained comic books, throw away the Superman / Batman animated trash and go find employment.

I like most in here enjoy a good movie and like to have a chat about it but I can't help but laugh when people start having aneurysms things like this.
 
I thought those were some of the adults as well. Comic Con and such exhibitions must be a bad place to go with such nerds.
 
How do so many people become so intrenched like that? some of the Joker Ledger fans are crazy sycophants. I remember seeing 30+ somethings in full legit life like costumes. Not even with children. Even the nurse outfits.
 
I think people need to get over the fact that Ben Affleck is the next Batman and be more concerned that a second Superman movie is going to be made with Batman in it. Yes it's obviously straight from a graphic novel, but I can't see it working on the big screen.

It's going to be dreadful!
 
Well I see that the media PR machine is working in overdrive out in full force today with loads of websites such a IGN defending the decision. Not one single media outlet is against the idea of Affleck as Batman! Quite telling.
 
I think Ben Affleck is a good choice for the role of Batman.

I have my doubts also. But I'll wait and reserve judgment until I've seen the film.

I'm starting to feel burned out on Batman now. Heck even any superhero.
 
I'm even more happy now Affleck will apparently be helping write the story/ script, which would save us from Boyer.
 
I reckon he'll do alright. Could definitely pull off a good Bruce Wayne.
Whether the film will be any good, that's a different matter but I doubt it'll be truly awful.

Anyhoo, all we have is speculation for another two years. DealWithIt.gif :cool:

If its in a different art direction and style then I'm hopeful for this.

Look at the art direction of Sin City - I know its heavily based on the graphic novel, but that worked out well.
