how so?

I would say Moyes has been the **** for putting in stupidly low offers for Fabregas and his 2 previous players.

Perhaps he meant because in just about every news conference he seems to make references to Rooney etc and trying to turn his head with the things he says. Not very classy then what makes it even more worse is that he ends up hijacking Willians move to Spurs:p.

Whereas Moyes hasnt really said anything about Fabregas or any other player he may be looking at, hasnt made any references to Fab or anyone from what i have seen...pretty much like Wenger, keeping his cards close to his chest regarding targets.

Because at every chance he wants to spout off how classy he is, how professional he is and won't talk about any other clubs players and refuses to because it's not right.

And then he goes and talks about Wayne Rooney for the rest of his press conferences as much as possible.

Speaking of strikers what's the chances of Lukaku being a bit miffed at having minimal game time so far, worth a cheeky bid from Wenger?

What would you want if not those 3, would seem pretty good as you can't seem to attract much else or willing to spend for it

Ozil is a big game bottler, weak, not very fit, folds under pressure, offers nothing defensively. Benzema is a genuinely good finisher but he's not as good as Higuain and not really what Arsenal need. He's more of a poacher, but the way Arsenal play is two wingers who can't just run the ball from midfield, beat 3 players and cross the ball for a tap in. We need a guy like Giroud, who will hold it, be a target man more, not sure Benzema can do that. Di Maria is much less of a big game bottler than Ozil, but still disappears in far too many, and tends to get dive/cheat happy in such games. He does it too often, isn't good at it, and usually just gets himself carded while not actually bothering to play football.

Ozil at 20mil if we sell Santi for more, sure, Benzema if he takes a big paycut and costs 20mil or less, sure. Di Maria at 20mil or less, I'd also take.

Chances of Real selling Di Maria, Benzema and Ozil in one window just to fit a single player called Bale into the team... 0%. At best we're doing the Arsenal thing of going to Real and asking for a list of who they might be willing to sell. Di Maria is the only player I genuinely see as potentially good value as they seem to want to offload him and maybe the only player who is looking to leave or realistically available to Arsenal. I think bigger clubs will come in for him.

Cabaye, Ozil, Di Maria, the least important in terms of improving the team. DM, fullbacks, CB, keeper are all important, a great striker is second, a creative midfield, of which we have 12 million already is so far down the list of importance it's a joke. Why we haven't improved the squad where its desparately needed regardless of if we get the champs league or not I don't know. A bit more cash to splash on a name to appease fans from the CL does nothing for me if we buy a stupid player for a position we don't need just so Wenger can point to them and say we have signed someone you all know.

Surely Gareth Walks to Training Bale wouldn't be throwing his toys out the pram, isnt that what these horrible foriegners do?

I reckon they were reading into his body language and facial expression and assumed this. Unfortunately he has the same look on his face no matter what is happening.

It would seem a bit out of character if what they say is true.

As for Lukaku, I would be playing him every game possible as from what I have seen of him, he is an absolute beast but needs the game time to sharpen up.

I know its 6.5, but hover over the hyperlink and it says £65m. Wouldn't put too much hope in a site that can't get basic stuff right ;)

I know, even i got caught out with the link saying 65mill:p. For a player that the majority of this forum hasnt heard, £65mill is a bit too much:p

Doesn't he need to start playing him then rather than sticking a midfielder there for most of the game and then putting Torres on?

Who knows what Mourinho is doing over there, probably trying a few different setups to see which works best for him. Wonder whats happening with Torres, he looked pretty fed up on the bench last night and dont see him getting much game time this year.

Looking back over this summer, maybe we should have had a punt at Benteke...hes started the season off pretty well, scoring 3 goals already. For £25mill i think he was worth it but maybe Wenger didnt want to take that chance on him.

Will be interesting to see in this final week of the transfer window, who Arsenal end up signing. Im hoping that we bring in some quality before it shuts rather than unknown players on a cheap or free.

Yeah I don't understand the not playing Lukaku thing :/

It was crying out for someone to hold the ball up for Chelsea last night for their midfielders to feed off. Mourinho came and set up not to lose but the way United were last night they could have quite easily nicked a result if they had someone for the ball to stick to.
