Cabaye again being rested from playing, wonder whats going on there??. Arsenal still interested in him??, havent really heard much since we made that lolworthy £10mill bid for him.

At least the Rooney saga has more or less finished with him not handing in a transfer request, just now the Balegate needs to be sorted out:p

He's had his head turned, I did here that PSG had bid 17 million for him as well so I don't know why it's dragging on.

Indeed, they spent the first half just hoofing it somewhere for Schurrle to chase, utterly futile.

Drogba used to destroy us with his strength and power, Maureen was set up not to lose though and it's a shame we couldn't have capitalised on them being cautious :/

Yeah I don't understand the not playing Lukaku thing :/

It was crying out for someone to hold the ball up for Chelsea last night for their midfielders to feed off. Mourinho came and set up not to lose but the way United were last night they could have quite easily nicked a result if they had someone for the ball to stick to.

UTD start welbeck all the time and he's vastly inferior to lukaku who doesn't get a sniff. Why we persist with welbeck I have no ideas.

Yep thats pretty much what i read that PSG made a bid for him but seems like it hasnt gone on further than that. Pardew wants big money for him though from what SSN are saying and im not sure if he is worth big money say £20mill+.

Btw good to see you back posting Gimp:)

To be frank, last night the way Chelsea were setup was quite boring in fact. I dont think his gamble with Schurrle in front really worked for them. I was more surprised that Mata didnt start, he is by far Chelsea's best player imho. De Bruyne doesnt look all that impressive as well, suppose he could get better as time goes on but meh it was a pretty boring team he put out there last night.

I've been back posting for a while now dude but thanks :)

It's all the "it's early season blah blah, neither team wanted to lose"

I kind of wonder what the situation would have been if Fergie was still there and Maureen came and set up like that against us, I would like to think that he would have gone at them in that second half when it was quite obvious both teams were standing off almost scared to make the first move.

We just didn't play that well, the tactics were fine but most players really underperformed and we had very little on the bench (partly injuries and partly players left out completely)

That and they stifled RvP extremely well, we helped massively by not getting closer to him though.

So Bale is absolutely furious over the way his supposed transfer to Real is being handled...Spurs just need to shove a few banana's in his gob and he will be alright:p

What's annoying about the Rooney transfer situation is that Kagawa is suffering because of it, I know he's probably not match fit after the niggling injury he had but I really want to see him get more games, Rooney being a baby seems to be making Moyes play him to keep him happy.

I just can't believe Kagawa isn't ready for game time, even 20/30 mins at the end of a match to help him build fitness?

Maybe the first game was too soon and he couldn't really last night as it was the Rooney show.

I don't want to see him on the left any more, he needs to start behind RvP and have a good run of games.

True, havent seen Kagawa play very much this season and hes supposed to be pretty good from his Dortmund days.

Certainly seems like Moyes is trying to appease Rooney by giving him more game time but icing out Kagawa at the same time. Rooney doesnt want to warm the bench, which i can understand but perhaps rotating RVP and Rooney might be a way to fix the situation??.

Its bizarre because from what i have been reading/hearing on SSN is that Rooney wont be handing in a transfer request but they go onto say there are still issues to be resolved regarding Rooney.

I want Moyes to have the balls to drop Rooney to the bench if he's not performing (if he stays)

I would think he will after last night. Rooney played really well but I can't help but feel that Rooney was kept on the whole game to basically tell Mourinho to **** off and stop being a complete ass about Rooney. If he didn't play him it could have caused all sorts of issues whether only perceived or actual.

We can see that when he can be bothered he is still a great player and this is when he isn't quite fit and up to speed so hopefully he just needs a little more game time.

If we can get Kagawa playing well and sign Fellaini I reckon we could take the league again this season. City don't look great and nor do Chelsea from what I have seen.
