Hmm.. I may give them a miss and hope for next day delivery from Liberty Flights - currently love their DV Premier Fruit Punch :D

Thanks Jaffa - one to avoid then.

Are there any good Dekang liquids about? The local petrol station has recently got a stand in with loads of Dekang eliquids all nicely retail boxed but I've heard mixed reviews (as with all liquids to be fair). Was wondering if any of them are good before taking a gamble.

I have a few from Dekang and can only really vouch for triple Menthol, which is my favourite of all juices.

Doesn't matter what it looks like buddy - if it vapes well, with no hotspots, then don't touch it!
You can try to wrap a tidier coil the next time, but if it's working now, it doesn't matter if it's touching the base, or the coils aren't evenly spread etc...

Happy Vaping! :p

Thats my first ever twisted AND sub ohm coil :P its making clouds :P

I only got my dekang flavors today (had the gold and silver a week or so) Minty Chocolate is odd, can only taste an odd mint and very chemical taste. Caramel is just really really odd...Marboro is what it is really...Red Bull is the only 1 I haven't tried...

I have Dekang Silver Apple and Dekang Silver Butterscotch which are both very nice. Dekang Gold Story of Lip is a nice cherry flavor with something else I can't put my finger (or rather taste buds) on...

GVC is just epic...

I just got two in from fasttech. Amaretto and dr pepper, only tried amaretto so far and flavour wise bang on however its rough stuff. I've been treated too well and on Scope's stuff which is top quality, market stuff which is okay and in terms of amaretto one its lower quality than both by far. I'll let you know on the Dr Pepper tomorrow but I'm not impressed so far!

Dekang is along the same lines as Hangsen - mass produced Chinese juice of varying quality. Hangsen have their Gold and Silver premium range, I believe Dekang use the Liqua brand for their better juices.
Either way, many of the premixed eliquids bought from etailers such as Vapeland etc are just re labelled Hangsen and Dekang juice, bought in bulk and sold at massive markups (100ml Dekang RY4 on Fasttech.com is £9 delivered, 30ml of the exact same liquid bought from Vapeland is £12.49 delivered.); even if a reasonably sized reseller was paying the same as us, that's a 200% markup!

As for homemade juices (I.e Scope's), I imagine the profit margin is far, far higher - not that I begrudge him that - I know how much effort goes into each one of his 6 flavours before he feels it's ready to batch & sell. I know I couldn't reproduce his excellent Apple Tart without first spending a fortune in test runs and "sink perfume" :p

Also, many people have reported that the Chinese eliquids base PG has a chemical taste to it - this is on the cheaper juices, not the premium ranges.

Redmogg I'm actually working with him at the moment on his labelling. Whatever you think he's making it's much much less!
The bottles/labels he'll be having alone cost a bit at his level/quanitity of ordering them on top of the product costs and testing. Obviously there's a profit but no where near 200% like the other rip off merchants!

Just so you know J.col and red the coils are even just in that pic it looks wonky due to the light and dark background. The coils them selves are a little low but it works perfect on the aga specially with the washer. Ive also concluded its not shorting ^_^.

ALSO SUB OHM COIL EPIC VAPOR AND FLAVOUR YO haha its only gonna get better :p

I know Simon's not raking it in - I also know how busy he is outside of juice making, my point was (not very clear tbh) that handmade eliquid has a higher development cost and tighter margin than the reseller'd Chinese stuff. Which is why the percentage markup needs to be higher...

Wife's family in Vancouver & Edmonton, so I've flown both Air TransAt & BA. Both didn't specifically allow vaping, but no one batted an eyelid when I used my cig-a-like. I minimised the vapour by holding onto the inhale for a few seconds (Stealth Vaping).

This +1 everytime I fly and I have had no problems :D

Hi all, I've just got an ego battery and mini nova from slowtech - upgraded from a titan 510 that I bought from totally wicked over a year ago.

Problem is I am getting very inconsistent vapes from it, sometimes, it tastes really nice, the next time I pick it up it tastes very burnt and like chemicals.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? could it be the little white bit inside the nova with the wicks that needs changing? (I have bought a few spares)

Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who pointed me in the right direction so i could research vaping a bit more. I have decided to go with something half decent in the form of the vamo v4. All the kits seem out of stock so i was hoping someone could browse their eyes over this lot and let me know if i need anything else.

Yeah thats pretty much all you need, but you might want some 18650 batteries, 18350 don't last long.

Also, them prices are sooooo much more expensive than FastTech. I got my Vamo, with 2 x 18650 and that charger for under £35 delivered.

i see they have protank mini "lookalikes" or duplicates for much much cheaper on fasttech. just a question, will there really be much difference between the cheaper alternative than the real thing?

I have noticed on my dingo button that if i push it with average force I will get a good hit but if i put a bit more force then that I get a stronger amount of crackind and hit. I dont know if its because theres a problem with the button or not. EIther way I always get a full hit but in the back of my mind i worry that maybe I may not be getting full contact or full voltage into the coil due to maybe pressing it to lightly?? Or is that just a thing with mechanicals.

I know if i push it lightly it will hit but it will only hit lightly as im not puting full pressure on the button where as if i put full force I do. Maybe im being paranoid.

Must vape harder, so push button firmer!

So much so - I had to order another button for my Sigelei 19 from CelticVapes... Now everything works as it should:

Sigelei 19B with Adjustable Brass firing pin and 19E Revision Bottom Button
+ Nautilus (2.0 Ohm NoRes-Res Coil + Silica) (Accie's Ambrosia 12mg)

Vamo V2 + Vivi Nova (1.8Ohm A1 Kanthal & Silica) (Scope's Apple Tart 12mg)

Ego-T 1100mAh + Kanger ProTank (1.8Ohm A1 Kanthal & Silica, No Flavour Wick) (Scope's BerryLicious 12mg)

= Nicotine rush!
