I don't own a ps3 but most 3rd party headsets work with both consoles but budget is important factor as vary from a little £20 to over £200 if you wanted.
Do you want a proper one with audio or just for voice chat?

Not the official wireless one whatever you do. It's a piece of ****. I swear the person who designed it had never seen a human ear.
Take out the rubber ring and arm and its a bit more comfortable, if you dont go with that just get something thats not wireless...

Ok, I've never played GTA... at all... ever.
I will be getting this at some point I think, on the PS3, and I'd like to join this gang/group/thing that you're all getting in on for the multiplayer but I have no idea how... Can anyone point me in the right direction or is it something that has to wait until the MP is opened?

then do yourself a favour Mat, and the next time a Rockstar sale comes along on steam, buy the entire GTA collection. GTA III -> Vice City -> San Andreas are the essentials, from there look at the 2D top down games and GTAIV

We've now seen all the fantastic stuff in this game, but where are the driving details in terms of handling of the cars in particular? Does it play like GTA IV or is it new?
It just seems strange theres very little information in such an integral part of the game. I recall a comparison to PGR a long time ago, and I'd be happy with that, but some info would be nice.

Driving wise though I hope it is different to GTA IV, I never expected the driving physics to be up there with Forza but always seemed something wrong about it. Looking at some of the videos though where you see cars being driven it does look better.
