Show us your kitty cats

I'll write exactly what it says on the faecal test result thing about coronovirus.

Feline coronovirus is a common viral infection in cats. A positive pcr result on weekly faecal samples for 4 consecutive weeks can be used to detect chronic shedding carriers. A cat that tests negative on weekly faecal pcr tests for 4 consecutive weeks is unlikely to be a chronic carrier.

This was explained to me by the vet as because it was one sample and not taken over the course of weeks they may not be shedding all the time. Which is potentially better news than them constantly shedding it. I do know that now either of them can develop FIP despite my best intentions but I'm doing all I can to try and prevent it.

However, I kind of agree with your theory as it was my pedigree that brought it into the house. My moggie had never been sick before hand.

I've got to have Lola X-rayed tomorrow as her back problems are still on going, the vet I saw when they had they'd jabs on Saturday was wondering if she'd been shot by an airgun pellet too :(

Really really hope not.

Won't last! Nari was quiet when she arrived and now routinely goes batsh&t crazy late in the evening and attacks anything that moves, including my toes, the curtains, the TV!

Is there a greater cat toy then a laser?

My 6 month old kitten Pixie. Lost my ragdoll Misty to cancer beginning of the year, we got Pixie and Fifi to be friends for our remaining ragdoll Frosty.

Hello Mr Flint.
He looks very calm and docile.
I wish my Bengal could learn a thing from him.

He's had his moments. Hes half Bengal and half generic neighborhood tom so it will be interesting to see how he turns out. He seems quite independent so far, but likes a good cuddle too.

Laser pen! Genius! We shall get one.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! I really hate people that pull sick stunts like that

Words can't express my loathing for those idiots.

But sadly they aren't uncommon. I watched group of (young) lads attacking a baby seagull the other day. For fun...

I swear some kids would benefit from a good battering, being left black and blue, so they know how it feels... But in reality abuse just begets abuse, so I don't know the answer.

Some people are just ill in the head. When I finally get myself a kitty, it'll be an indoor only kitty for a whole host of reasons. Not trusting the 'yoofs' of our neighbourhood is a big one.

Meet Leia who I picked up on Sunday.

Just got him today - we just need to let our other 2 cats see who he is,

Poppy growled at him and his then backed off when he got close to her then the back away but sat and watched him growled a bit more then wanted to go outside.

Oscar on the other had, came downstairs hadnt noticed him, when he did he ran upstairs and has been sitting on my window sill since (hiding behind the blinds) lol.

We only got him at about half six so its only been 2 hours, not going to force our other 2 cats to look at him etc, we are just going to leave it upto them to look when they feel they want to.

I don't think your picture is big enough there Fuzz :p

Max has been back from the vets since Monday afternoon after his air gun pellet removal, but has since developed some scabs on various parts of him and the hair has come out from around them?
It's not flea related as I've checked him over with a comb, and he seems happy enough so I'm a bit mystified?!
Is it possible he's caught something in the vets or is having a reaction to the antibiotic shot he had?
