It looks great, and in some I suspect it'll look better than Watch Dogs, the attention to detail will be unprecedented.

Hopefully it's not at the cost of a stable frame rate though.
 
Serious question..... Do we really need next gen consoles yet?

This game looks awesome. This just shows that current gen consoles still have a lot to offer.
 
Serious answer: NO, not really, but it's good to have (evne though I wont bother for at least a year)

Just the progression of gaming.

If all we had was a Atari we would all be happy playing that :p but progression is good, most of the time haha

There is no reason ever to reject more power. GTA4 had pretty poor shadows and the frame rate dipped a lot. From photos released so far there are some low detail textures in this, these things are just unavoidable with such old tech.
 
I don't know.... I just feel it would be great if a dev committed to either next gen console gave me something to be really excited about. Nothing shown so far looks as good as gta5 or something like the last of us.

It's time imo, First 6 months of a new gen is always a bit weak, was there anything this gen in the first 6 months that blew you away? Give it a year or so and you will be wanting one of the next gen consoles. They have to start somewhere. ND will make you believe :p

True. However, the difference (graphically and overall experience) was much greater between this gen and the last.
 
Yeah I feel the jump isn't massive but then no one wants to be spending £600 on a monster console.


Gettting GTA on ps3 but would double dip if it were to release on ps4. :)

thank god, i seem to have managed to fix my ps3 by turning the 2 screws on the power supply lol. I hope it holds out for gtav as theres no way im getting a new one :eek:
 
I've just ordered my copy and I realised it is the first 360 game I have bought since UFC 2010. I really should thank my Xbox for not red ringing out of spite / neglect.

Roll on September 17th. Cannot wait!
 
Going to my first midnight launch for this, anyone going in Hanley, Stoke? Can't wait! Booked off the week for playing. Got SE also! WHOOOP!
