I am still confused as to how 3 characters will play out in the game. Will we be forced to switch or can we play through the entire game with just 1?

You are notified when you have to switch by the player wheel flashing a certain colour, it's advisable to then switch to that player as they may die, it flashes white when they have a tactical advantage in a situation.

The video in the IGN posted a page or two ago covers that. :)

You won't be able to play the entire game without switching characters though, each one will inevitably have their own solo missions.
 
Went up to my local independent store yesterday and stuck £5 on as a pre-order, have £41 in credit from trading in games, though worryingly he said 15 days till release ( think its £45 in his store)
 
I can't wait for multi vehicle races, it would go something like this :-

1. Start in a airfield where you run and get a helicopter.
2. Fly the helicopter a few thousand feet above Mount Chiliad and parachute down to the peak.
3. Grab an ATV and race downhill to the start of the mountain and grab a sports car.
4. Race to the nearest coastline and jump in a speed boat.
5. Speed across the water to land and grab a sports bike.
6. Hightail it again to the nearest airfield.
7. Finally get in a plane and fly to a designated finish line.

Can't see why that won't be possible.
