REALLY Hot Chilli Sauce?

Daves Insanity sauce it pretty hot and has a nice flavour. The ghost pepper version is slightly hotter but is quite disgusting really, its only really useful for adding heat.

No other experience with more expensive variants though...

Really? I prefer the ghost pepper one to the original.
Has a slight smoky flavour, whereas the original one I have I only find that useful for the heat.

Anyone suggest something to try my new sauces with? Would normally just cook up a big chilli and whack it in, but I fancy something a bit different, maybe some snacks I can dip in them or something?

What would you pros suggest?

Huevos rancheros is always a good choice for trying hot sauce with :D

I'll stick with my Encona. :o

I've got a bit of a collection of hot sauces :D

The hottest sauce I've got is 'Mad Dog .357 Magnum silver collectors edition' which is 750,000 scovilles. It's pretty vile though. Tastes of nothing but vinegar and extract.

By far my favourite is Dave's Gourmet ghost pepper sauce which I think is about 260,000 scovilles. It's far tastier than insanity sauce which is mainly down to the smoked garlic in it.

Any sauce with extract in it will completely rearrange the way you see hot foods :D

I gota try a few of these so called danger stuff lol gona be fun. does anyone know a good one that don't taste like wax or soil like most the hot ones from stores?

Are you looking for a natural sauce or one with added capsicum? The natural sauces ten to be ~500,000 scoville at the top end, but the ones with added capsicum can be upto about 6,000,000.

The Trinidad scorpion sauce I bought the other day is an example of a natural sauce at the higher end of what is possible without added capsicum, and I can tell you it's very very hot.

I added a teaspoon of the stuff to a rib sauce at the weekend and basted my ribs. My wife and I were sitting there with our mouths open, dribbling and completely numb for about 15 mins. :D

The fortified sauces are a lot hotter still (As in unusable as a sauce, and should only be added by the drop to a sauce).

Well I eat scotch bonnets kinda daily really nice to go with my chili mustard for my diet kinda want hotter since it's not that hot but only hottest one I can get by me.

when you eat a whole pepper most the time it's ok but most i've had taste like wax skin or like a soil taste not sure why.

I've had that source it's nice had it from tesco before they stopped selling it by me.

I was after the devils tear but could never find it as i seen it on Man vs food, great on chicken.

Came today nice tester before buying bigger bottles.

Not bad for 6.99

I got them for a test to see if the are good with heat plus make sure it's a trusty site (never know)

I'm gona make a nice hot chili to try them out on, that's if i don't use them as a topping first lol
