True but I'm a sucker for new shiny things :)

My niece is studying in Morocco and we Skype her every Friday with the whole family all around a tiny mobile or laptop so thinking it could be handy on TV with loads of people around.

Some games they show your face in the corner, which ive always thought was pretty cool, plus some of the functions of the console depend on it like the light bar. Don't know yet, but at £45 is cheap enough, will probably wait and see if they have any Xbox like features on it first.

Actually scrap that - Id rather save the £45 and put it toward an Oculus Rift! Really hope that comes out and works on the PS4 (and glasses :p)

True, I think they said they will have voice and gesture control, but not really shown us anything yet. I do like the Xbox Kinect stuff, so would be cool if they implement something similar.
 
Who is getting KZ? I wanna get it but with COD and BF4 out at same time Im worried what its userbase might be. I know the previous installments were out in Q1 of the year so had time to get established - unsure about this one though...

Undecided on killzone. I gave gurilla two opportunities a d they failed 2x will KZ2 & KZ3. Little reluctant this time around, perhaps wait for some reviews.
 
I'm looking forward to the release, but still haven't changed my mind about getting one this year, I'll grab a bundle deal in Jan maybe, the only thing I think that would sway me is if Deep Down is out this year and is basically a bigger, better Dragon's Dogma, only just finished DD and loved it.

Out of all next-gen console exclusives, that is the only one I am even slightly interested in!...not enough to buy a console though, I hope they release it on PC

i see that as a disadvantage, having to call everyone into the same room or gather round a tv, whereas with a tablet you all take your turn to talk to the person and say if someone is up on the loft, or someone is outside in the garden, you take the tablet to them and let them chat.

i hate doing it on a mobile because of small screen, and hate doing it on a laptop because it's far too bulky, imo a tablet, specifically a 7" on is the best way to skype.

plus that way other's can watch tv whilst you skype, etc as well.

tbh i don't think i need the camera, none of my mates will be buying one, i already have so many skype compatible devices, i don't want to see the person's face in the corner of the screen, etc.

so i will give it a miss, my ps3 camera has spent 99% of it's life in a drawer somewhere, the things are literally a gimmick which soon wears off. only acessories i use are a headset and a controller.

I'm the same, not sure if I want to pick one up on release. Only game i'm slightly interested in is Watch Dogs, which I can pick up on PC but I kind of want one because I like new toys :o

My main problem is the sheer amount of PS3 games I still want to play before going near a PS4, currently enjoying a combo of Spec Ops The Line and Okami HD, theres is a huge backlog thanks to PS+ on the download list and then never mind the fact GTA V is out in 10 days.... might need to revise my PS4 purchase to Jan 2015 :P

True, thing is that a week after the PS4 is launched ill prob be spending most of my time playing GT6 on my PS3, but shiny new toys are cool.

Aye, I reckon GTA5 will keep my busy for a while. Might hold out until Christmas or January for one
