********* The Official GTA V (5) thread! *********

I don't see why, really; after 7 years we're all aware of what the current gen is capable of, and it's still going to be a significant improvement over GTA4.

It'll be the people who have got themselves caught-up in the next-gen who aren't impressed with GTA5, but it's a case of managing expectations really.

That's exactly it. There's a lot of people that will be caught up already. And Rockstar aren't really managing expectations. We've seen a lot of shots that I struggle to believe aren't touched up. And the features on their website use a lot of pre-rendered graphics.

Not that I really mind, that's their problem. I'll be enjoying the game!

I might just buy it on the PS3 market, whatever it is called. Don't have to worry about changing disks, delivery, needing to install etc. And I'm probably too late to pre order from Amazon anyway!

You do have to install on PS3, I think. And it's a one-time only install on the 360 anyway. There is no disc swapping. You're not late to pre-order. They have infinite stock it seems. :p

I haven't pre-ordered as I never do cause I forget until it's too late :p

So short of a midnight launch somewhere, can you just download it from Xbox Live Marketplace? That would be ideal

Gosh I really want to play this but I personally cannot justify spoiling it with low settings on a decade old GPU.

My need to play games with cutting edge graphics outweighs the need to play it early.

Therefore, I'm going to wait patiently for PC release.

Have fun guys.

Yes, because GTA has always been about the graphics...
