I paid just less than £50 for the set, the price has gone up and I used a voucher at the time.

I thought I was buying a half decent kit. I really would prefer to keep things as portable and small as possible.

Only thing with vape king is that it's pre mixed. Any site I can get singular flavours that I can then mix. Wanting N 80/20 mix

Check out vapology.co.uk - They do custom liquids where you choose your PG/VG, Nic, up to 3 different flavours and the option of extra/double flavour. Well priced too

My order from last week wasn't premixed (all three of the liquids I'd ordered). I believe you can always place an order and then email them to have a different mix specified.

There's little wrong with that kit as your basic starter/out-and-about, so I wouldn't take what's been said too much to heart. Of course there's a whole other world of mods out there that offer a bigger experience and more possibilities, but some people do forget that not everybody is looking for that, or wants to walk around wielding a truncheon-cum-fog machine. :D

And, again, these things are cheaper from China... but not everybody wants to wait over a month for delivery when you can have the goods almost immediately from a UK retailer, with the requisite markup.

Anyway, the Protank should connect OK to those batteries. Don't know about the size of the Protank Mini though so it may be a little unwieldy on such a small battery. Still, you never know until you try it!

+1 - not everyone can or wants to jump straight into the £100+ super mods and fiddly rebuildables. In fact, for just getting away from the stinkies, most are perfectly happy with an EGO-T type device and a CE4/5, maybe a ProTank for more reliable vaping...

The protank minis fit the Egos fine, but if you buy the full retail box version, you get the Ego/510 collar which adds a little more stability and looks sleeker and a couple of extra heads.

Recoiling yourself does eventually save money, but there's a considerable investment in time and effort (plus wick & wire) involved...

As a cheaper alternative the ProTank, Kanger make cheaper bottom coiled tanks; the MT3 and the Evod - both offer good performance for a fiver, but not quite good as the ProTank. Don't forget, the mini only has a 1.5ml capacity, the full sized version takes 2.5 (enough to last me most of the day, as a chain-vaper).
Happy Vaping

market vendors will sell the less expensive stuff and cheaper ejuice, you'll be hard pressed to find ones selling a provari or even gp paps lux mech mods. :D Best finding a brick and mortar store or just shop online for the higher end gear.
I know, i was never expecting stuff like that, maybe a few RBA's like an RSST or AGA T2 or something. Was just hoping to see more than cheap and nasty copies of Ego's and other crappy bits.... :/

That said the whole thing was **** tbh. Everything i saw was a cheap fake/copy. Beats for £15 anyone? lol

this stuff is amazing. its only 4 days steeped but i couldnt wait, so complex and perfect its untrue

http://www.vapingking.co.uk/mdv666

Still not tried mine yet, been patiently letting it steep, Only tried the apple pie and custard so far....

EDIT: Finally got my Fasttech delivery! One RSST amongst other stuff...

VERY POSITIVE reply from one of my MEPS - David Campbell, I have another from one of our UKIP Meps which I will post in a while. You will all LOL at the response.

Dear Mr Thomas

Thank you for your email regarding the issue of electronic cigarettes. I have had a number of constituents raising similar concerns about the proposed reduction of nicotine in e-cigs and effectively banning them in the EU.

As you may know my stance towards the European Union is not one of further integration, quite the opposite. Nor am I in favour of banning things which are ultimately an issue of personal choice. Many, if not all, of those who use e-cigs will have taken the time to learn about the product before using them. These choices should be respected especially if it leads to a healthier alternative to normal cigarettes. I am concerned by the theory that this ban is coming after pressure from tobacco companies and if that is the case then questions must be asked of the European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Affairs, Tonio Borg.

The Commission’s proposal will result in nicotine thresholds which will be insufficient for individuals who use these e-cigs as a means of quitting tobacco cigarettes all together or as a replacement for them. This could very well send ex-tobacco smokers back to square one therefore making the proposal completely counter-productive.

I have always been opposed to legislation which seeks to control and nanny the British public from an unaccountable seat in Brussels. Laws which govern Britain must be made in Britain and it is for that reason that I have been campaigning so strongly for a referendum on our relationship with the EU. As your MEP, I will be voting against this proposal because it is about personal freedom as well as personal health.

Yours sincerely

David Campbell Bannerman MEP
Conservative Member of the European Parliament for the East of England

Kind of ironic that the two juices that require the most steeping time you have tried, yet the one that doesn't you let steep :D

MDV666 taste almost the same pre and post steep.

Anyone going to read my post regarding the reply from my MEP on todays vote on the Tobaco products directive?

Pretty important..... considering our love of vaping.

Ive already received 3 repies all supporting our cause and that they will all vote against.

Really? Fair enough, it says allow 7 days for steeping in their description. :)

Never saw they did kits tbh. I would suggest starting with some 400 mesh, and then pick up either .3 or .25 ribbon kanthal. 0.3 if you are going mech.

The kits are pretty new. Shame they don't offer more grades of mesh in the first kit. I'd still suggest it to someone new to rebuilding.
