Male ---> Do you own an iphone 5 or 4/4S?

iPhone 5 ---> Do you care about finger print reader?

----> Yes ----> Buy a 5S
----> No ----> Don't buy a 5S

iPhone 4/4S ---> Do you care about finger print reader?

----> Yes ----> Buy a 5S
----> No ----> Buy a S4 or HTC One



Female ----> Do you prefer gold or green / blue / yellow / red

Gold ----> Get a gold 5S
Other colour ----> Get a 5C in desired colour



Basically.
 
Im going to stick around with my iPhone 5. Been using it since release. Have no intension getting the 5S.

I'll wait for the 6.
 
Not bought an iPhone before - would it be realistic to assume that Three will have them in stock on (or v.soon after) the 20th?

The Moto X isnt designed by Google, it has input from Google but it is not a Google phone. It doesn't even come with the latest version of Android! The Nexus 5 isnt even designed by Google (rumour says its LG). As of yet, Google has done little with Moto

Some companies actually come up with new ideas of their own. That's Innovation.

Look at all the cool stuff Sony has been releasing of late.
 
I wish they would stop with these pointless incremental 'S' updates which offer virtually no real world difference against the prior release and start focusing on making a phone battery last more than one day as nearly all top-end smart phones run out before the end of the day with any kind of real use. This would surely be the next innovation in smart phones rather than a finger print reader for the lazy man who cant be bothered to type in 4 characters :rolleyes:!

Fixed that for you, at least for anyone with an ounce of common sense. :p

If it's an upgrade then just spend the extra and get a 5S, the 5C is a bit of a joke but I'm sure it'll fly off the shelves regardless :p

I must say I'm actually even more underwhelmed by the 5S than I was expecting.
I knew it was going to be iterative but they really didn't give those of us who are current iPhone users but on the edge regarding whether to go for a new iPhone or something else come renewal time.

Are they really expecting iOS 7 to provide all the reasons?

Also paranoid or not the whole having a finger print scanner on your phone with the level government spying going on doesn't sit well with me.


P.s. the headphone jack is still in the wrong place... Even Google/Asus moved it back to where it should be on the new nexus 7.

Yep. Essentially, unless you're a big gamer.

I may get a second hand 5 and wait for 6 where i would put money on there being a different phone.
 
If I was in the market for an iPhone I think I'd still go for the iPhone 5 rather than the 5s. Not quite sure what the point of the 5c is, it doesn't really seem to be that much cheaper and probably makes them even more money that the 5s.

Are the plastic cases on the 5c interchangeable?
 
Apple have run out of ideas. They just keep releasing the same product with pointless features that nobody wants or asked for now.

For me, I liked the look of Sense 5 and Boomsound (HTC One specific), the better notification thing what swivels to show you all the functions, and larger screen. The rest isn't as good, with some almost as good.
 
Apple are extracting the urine releasing the same phone every year now. Who really cares about a fingerprint reader? I can't wait to trade my iPhone 5 for a phone with a proper OS and a proper screen! Apple won't be getting any more of my money.
