Samsung NP-R520 laptop HDD replacement?

So the HDD is completely busted in my Samsung NP-R520 laptop and so I was wondering if any of you guys could suggest any replacements? It doesn't have to be too large about 500GB would be fine.

I don't fancy spending anywhere near that kind of money for an SSD just a cheap and cheerful HDD

My old drive is a 9.5mm HDD can I use 7mm drives as well?

Yep, I'm sure some of them come with adaptors to fill the gap as well or they can be picked up cheaply.
